| Not MAC related, but I also picked up Cargo "Rome" blush and it's such a pretty, corally summer shade. The pigmentation and buttery texture is so much better than nars and alot of mac blushes. Ill be getting more! lol |
Just curious, do you have a swatch of Rome by any chance? I am interested in it but a little scared it would be too orange for my paleness.

Could you please do a lip swatch of it before you return it? I am very curious to see it on someone with a lighter skin tone.

Could anyone swatch Go For It on lips?? I'm debating whether to buy it... I'm NC15 & on the look out for a blue toned purple lipstick, Violetta lipstick looks just bright pink on my lips, would Go For It just behave the same way??

This one needs whole face made flawless. I don't know if I like it enough to wear it. I tried topping it with a Chanel glossimer (105, it's a bright fuchsia with multicoloured sparkle, close to Mac Electric Fuchsia l/g maybe) on the second picture, but I don't know. Maybe with a lighter baby pink gloss it might look better? I will experiment more! I'm sure when I have foundation and brows done it doesn't look so out of place anymore.
I have also Violetta, but it is missing somewhere in my home full of makeup, so I cannot compare it right now.
But if I remember correct, Go For It is more blue toned than Violetta.
Forgot to add that my lips are medium pigmented, and there is no liner, no base, just bare lips.

I'm NC15 (well, now I have a "tan" so a tiny bit darker
I have also Violetta, but it is missing somewhere in my home full of makeup, so I cannot compare it right now.

I have to rave a little about Jazzed! It is perfect! It looks very natural on me, very flattering! I tried it quickly after I wiped Go For It off, but already I love it! I have medium pigmented lips (I guess?), so it tones down it a bit making it more neutral on me. Now I just have to find another orangey lipstic because this wasn't so bright on my lips, but I couldn't have asked for a better surprise! I can't wait to wear it properly tomorrow!

Agreed. I think I'm going to skip it. I have Lavender Whip and I think one purple lippy is probably enough. Even if they're really different.

You are not missing out. I never would've gotten GFI if I didn't have the B2M empties, it was never on my list and I got it simply because I got it "free". Howdy gals.....long time away (I know....bAD Donna!), but I just wanted to post that I stopped at my MAC store yesterday (had not been there since mid-May), and they had all the samples made up and let me play.....wouldn't you know it, I didn't have my camera with me (bad, BAD Donna!)
I did decide on only TWO items....Stereo Rose (DUH!....like I'd pass on that
) and one of the MES trios---Soften the Mood. Totally on hold for me, waiting for Thursday afternoon to pick them up.....YAY!
