...5 were pre-sold a few days ago.

I wonder if all 5 of those were Stereo Rose and how many they actually had in hand? On the plus side, they weren't much over retail (less than $40 U.S). Even if someone used a PRO card, they still have to pay ebay and paypal fees...as well as for their time.

You know we're all over hear wracking our brains trying to figure out the rhyme or reason to the randomness of all this.

The light bulb just went on for me that there is no pattern, no ryhme or reason. MAC is just effed. Period.

Well this just goes to show, it doesn't matter if you sit up all night and order it the minute it hits the site. There is NO guaranty you will get the product.

Mine was the very first order for SR on MAC's site, so they said.

I forgot to mention that when I went to cancel my order today the rep asked me if I wanted to cancel the order for Stereo Rose. I told her no. Maybe she is not in the "know" and thinks it's on backorder or maybe she's just trying to make me feel better. I was a bit sarcastic at that point, but she handled it like a champ. So my order has been shipped and the Stereo Rose order is still in, but she doesn't know when it will be shipped.

And I just love love how they say "it will ship within the next two weeks". Is MAC blatantly outright lying to us? I don't like it. At least Nordies says no you can't have it sorry.

Something funny's going on! I got the guts up to call my local counter and ask if they'd reserve a Stereo Rose for me. Of course they wouldn't, but in the previous call they told me they had nine SRs. Now the MA told me she has five.

They said they absolutely will not do pre-orders for anyone on this. So who got the other four since 11 am this morning?

She said I have a good shot of getting one if I get there when they open, but I don't think she has any idea what she's in for. She literally had no clue about what has been going on with SR.

I would have asked to speak to the manager on that one just because SR is a big deal to me and these are tough times...but how do you go from 9 to 5? I would need to know how. It would annoy the hell out of me if they couldn't explain that one.
