Good grief, this is a small counter that I usually have trouble getting fast service at! The most I see there are two, but how much you want to bet that all of the staff that works there are finding out about this and calling in to make sure they get theirs?

On another note, I got an email from Nordstrom in response to my complaint to them, apologizing profusely for the inconvenience and telling me I can order SR and get it shipped out on 7/30. Yeah, right. Why would Nordstrom get new stock in when the MAC site itself won't be getting anymore?

Just another scheister tactic, IMO.

You know, I talk big about boycotting MAC, but as my dear husband just correctly pointed out to me, Dare to Wear is only a few weeks away and I'll surely be over my boycott by then! LOL

Yeah, I'm going not expecting to get it. I definitely not going to get my hopes up on this one. Maybe if I'm lucky I will be able to snag one, if not, then I guess it wasn't meant to be. I just got my order! That was super fast b/c I ordered yesterday around noon. I only got Go For It from this collection and I think I want a backup. I'm so excited, I might take a chance on Jazzed. I'm about to put a hand and lip swatch in the swatch thread.

'Gonna chime in and point out that since this time a year or 8 months ago when production quantities were decided at the top, MAC has gained a lot of momentum and a lot of new followers, so it's not surprising to me that they underestimated today's demand.

Next year's stand out products will probably be easier to get, but I'm assuming we're not going to see the change until next spring's collections.

I've been wondering this too!

My impression from swatches/pictures is that Ever So Rich is slightly more lavender and Going Casual is more on the lilac side (and looks a little less sheer than ESR). In my head it's like comparing Lavender Whip to I Like It Like That...but I haven't seen the new stuff in person so I could be WAY off!

I don't think the difference looks huge, but I'd like to know for sure too.

ETA: I think I just talked myself into Going Casual...lol, sigh.
