day, everybody!
I only got Stereo Rose from this collection so far, but I'm thinking if I should go back for Hang Loose and Band of Roses. The new blushes are very pigmented and beautiful.

My MA put Hang Loose on my cheeks and it was very pretty. But if I have Pleasantly, do I need Hang Loose? They seem close. I really like Hang Loose, but I'm still undecided. Band of Roses is gorgeous pink rose shade. But when I swatched Stark Naked rather heavily at home, it looked closed to Band of Roses. Stark Naked has a touch of pink though. Any suggestions?

Stereo Rose is a beautiful peach MSF. I cannot wait to wear it.

Anyway, I love visiting MAC! It's always fun!

Erine posted about this for us after her update.

The MA told me it would look better with foundation but I don't wear foundation on a regular basis... so she told me to do Fix+. I will try that. But I bought one anyway because I don't want to regret it later. Don't feel like playing the hunting game.

Now the standout for me was BAND OF ROSES. It was gorgeous! Very very pigmented so I had to use a light hand and blend like crazy but it was soooooo pretty.

Let me correct myself. I used the wrong description for how Stereo Rose showed up on me. It was not glittery. It was metallic.

Just wanted to add that in before someone thinks its a glitterbomb. Its not. Just metallicy on me. But I plan to give it another try in the comfort of my own home and see how I like it

I enjoy hearing the crazy "Trying to Get SR" stories...and so glad I don't have to deal with it.

A part of me wants to go over to Nordstrom's, go up to my MUA and say, "Hey, I got a joke for you: Do you have any Stereo Rose?"

BA DUM CHING!

Thanks so much for taking the time to copy and paste the info. I'm soooooo bummed!

I JUST discovered how awesome cremesheen glasses are, and was planning to B2M for 2-3 more. I'm so sad now, it's like they dangled a carrot and then took it away

I don't think I will buy any at full price.

I'm trying to decide how many back-ups of Go For It to get.
th_dunno.gif
I could see this becoming my everyday color- it is a wearable purple. I just don't want to blow my entire MAC budget on back-ups. Guess I'll decide when I put my order in.

I was going to suggest that. Tea tree oil will work if your skin isn't really sensitive... because it's corrosive. Lavender is safest, as far as disinfectants go.

But damn, there is some serious Stereo Rose fever going on! Good luck to everyone on getting one if it is on your list.

And congrats to those who have already scored one (or more).

I'm with you. From some of the swatches I've seen this looks kind of orangey on some people. Don't feel that it's that unique. From what I've seen the MSF's tend to be very shimmery and aren't kind to people who have pores.

Just put in my order for 2 back-ups of Go For It. It ate into my VV savings, but honestly, I am loving this so much I would sacrifice an item or two from VV to have more of this in my life.
winkiss.gif

Is it bad that I am just as excited for the second order????

I'm not a back-up gal, but Go For It is SO DAMN GORGEOUS, I was seriously thinking I was going to have to go against my policy and back that sh-t up. I even broke down and bought Chillin' because of how it made GFI even more beautiful (lord knows I probably won't wear that one with anything else).

Details: I'm NC15 with green eyes, black hair and red-pigmented lips. Seriously the most beautiful purple lipstick I've ever encountered for my coloring and you're talking to a gal who still has her tube of Epic from like 1997.

I don't have trouble with my MBs and I've been using them almost every day. However, I think what helps for me is that I only stipple them on. I do not buff them into my skin. I think this is very helpful because even with just light stippling, they can start feeling like a thick coating on my skin after an hour or two. The other advantage of stippling is it minimizes the appearance of pores, unlike deep buffing that really accentuates every little crater and pit.

I've been wearing Stereo Rose all day and it's definitely a lighter sensation on the skin for me than the Mineral Blushes, so hopefully there will be even less potential skin aggravation trouble.

I just ordered Blue My Mind MES. So far I have purchased:

Stereo Rose x2
Jazzed l/s
Blue My Mind MES

I already owned Petticoat x2. I might pick up more. I am interested in getting Call My Bluff l/s and Togetherness MES. They aren't must haves for me so its whenever I get around to it. I spent a lot of money this month and thats not including MAC

I hope you got one! I was at the Glendale Galleria first thing in the morning to pick up the goodies I'd pre-ordered and literally every single woman who walked into the store in the hour I was there asked for Stereo Rose. They must have sold maybe 7 of them while I was there and then while I was paying up, the manager did a tally of how many they had left (9 of them at 11 am).

I've heard that the Glendale store is their highest volume location in L.A., so it might be a good place in general if you're looking for a special item in the future.

They also had a very good system in place for taking my pre-order. They had me fill out a form over the phone with them yesterday morning with all my contact info, the names of every item I wanted, my credit card info and some other info they used on their end. The system was that they would charge my card for all the items when the store opened the next morning, whether I was there or not. As it turned out, I got there when the store opened and the fellow who helped me (Ben - he's a nice guy!) just held off on running my card until I did all the rest of my last minute shopping. 'Way more organized system than what they had for TTB. I get the feeling this was something their store manager implemented just for her sanity, which was smart!

hmm...you have my coloring exactly. I think I'm going to need a pic of this, please! (and if you want to leave that SR on your cheeks in the pic, I wouldn't be mad)

But, what has just increased my heart rate is that depots aren't accepted anymore (post on MUA. I need to follow this up). I have enough depots for like 5 B2M's. Seriously, I would have a panic attack

Has this ever happened to you anyone? You really don't need the item, but you cannot stop thinking about it? That's crazy! I'm still thinking about Hang Loose.
