Beautiful! I LOVED it when I swatched it - now I am so glad Nora talked me into it

UK ladies: I saw lots of Comfort MSF at my local CCO today (Cheshire Oaks), it was on sale for around £13.50 so if you were thinking of getting it check your local CCO first!

I stuck to my list and only Go For It l/s came home with me yesterday. It's not as pigmented a shade than I would have liked, but while it's a muted tone, it's definitely a blue-toned purple (not pink-toned like Violetta or Orchidazzle). It pairs very well with So This Season l/g.

And here I was thinking it was just me! I wish it was an Amplified Creme instead of a Cremesheen! Don't get me wrong, I like Cremesheens but I love Amplified Cremes because you get better color coverage and with my pigmented lips, that's what I like and looks best!

So, the real color is more of a pinky lavenderish purple when its actually on the lips?

It's real purple purple, so not for the timid. There is a definite blueberry tone to it. I tried taking another round of pictures, but I just can not capture the real color.

Yes, it's not the best formula for the color in my opinion either. I was comparing it to Blooming Lovely, and the Amplified formula of that one applies so much better. If you have pigmented lips like I do, the blue tones don't look good if my lip color is shining through, and the cremesheen just doesn't cover enough.

Thanks for post because Richie Nickel said that Go For It didn't have any blue undertones it at all. So I was thinking like no pinks no blues then it's just straight blueberry. I must admit that I haven't given Go For It a chance at all and didn't even swatch it at the counter the last few times I was there. Maybe it wasn't meant to be. I'll just swap out my Jazzed for something else of value...not sure what anybody will want to swap Jazzed for. Thanks again!

i love the cremesheen texture! although perhaps i am in a minority? i think it gives good coverage, although my lips aren't particularly pigmented so perhaps that is why they look ok on me?

I love this collection!

There were several surprises in it for me. First shock was that I ended up getting Stereo Rose, but then that is a whole other thread.

Second surprise was You've Got It Cremesheen Glass. I am a fair blonde haired, blue eyed chic, so a silver grey gloss was initially a definate No! Then I tried it, and I must say that it is one of my favorites.

Third surprise was Band of Roses blush. I had been reading all of the great reviews here and wanted to try it - but it looks so dang dark in the pot. With some buffing and careful application, however, it lives up to the hype.

Fourth surprise was Go For It lipstick with Chillin' on top. I would have never gotten that for me, but the MUA kept pushing so I caved. Great combo!

Finally Blue My Mind which is such a great trio. I guess the real surprise here is that there is almost no fall out from this formula. I am going to go get my back up today.

Why can't all MAC collections be like this one??

I use MUFE's primer (applied with fingers) and MUFE HD foundation (with a 109). I have MAC's pore minimizer prep+prime (whatever it's called, I can't remember now!), but I don't think it does much for me. Anyone have any tips/produc recommendations to help with this problem, though?

I apply a light coat of primer which seems to do the trick. I tend to use either Fresh or Smashbox PhotoFinish.

I've got pigmented lips and this is what Go For It does on me. It's bluish purple for sure (looks incredible with my NW15 skin). However, if I blot it or it wears down after eating, it looses the blue cast and becomes more of a warm lilac, which is also very pretty, but really different than what comes straight from the tube.

Swatching it on your lips is really the only way to go for telling with this one, but for me it was so perfect, I actually backed it up (which I never do). 'Feel like my quest for a perfect purple for me is pretty much over

I like the texture of the Cremesheen's as well.

The only one's I've purchased in the past was Black Knight from the Style Black collection and (we all know that was one of my favorite collections from last year!) and Speak Louder - which I hauled several weeks ago.

So, I purchased 2 of the lippies from this collection and B2M the other two.

I didn't purchase Creme d'Nude and Call My Bluff.

Right now I'm wearing I Like It Like That w/Plum liner and Foolishly Fab l/g - again!

I decided to wear each one of the lippies this week!

I can't wait to wear Go For It Again! I LOVES THAT SHADE!

I am NC45/50 for reference.

A third loving the cremesheen texture. These were my fave until I discovered the Glaze, now those are tied. Not drying at all! And I never feel the need to layer a gloss over them--I may do it for the effect, but these are perfect.

I just need to express my love for Soften the Mood MES! The blue is so wearable and has a duo chrome blue/pink effect that I can't get enough of. It is seriously unbelievable, I bought a backup!

I have no idea why.

I turn 46 tomorrow, and the SAME THING happened to my hair!
When I was in my 20s I felt like I was constantly fighting limp, flat hair, and that continued into my 30s, but once I started approaching 40, I started noticing these natural spirals.
I hardly look like Little Orphan Annie, but as long as I use a diffuser when I blow dry, my hair holds a set well, and I like that.
My guess is that it's hormones.

So I haven't tried SR but I tried Jazzed for the first time yesterday. Does it take my breath away? No. But I do like it a lot because it is what I had hope Ever Hip from LOL would be for me. On my lips Jazzed doesn't look as bright as Ever Hip. So I ordered another along with Happy Together MB. I am very excited for Happy Together and I hope I will get more of the dark side!

Geeko - Happy Together looks so gorgeous on you!!!

I totally agree with Geeko, don't let Happy Together pass you by if you like chic peachy cheeks. At least try it, don't let the boring looking thing fool you!
