I'm wearing that one today!!! I love Nars blushes, especially the Pierre Hardy ones. Rotonde is one of my favorite blushes ever.

What color is Rotonde? I didn't see that one but will go look it up right now.

I just got back from nordstrom and passed on lust for life. I was just thinking the same. I'm wondering if there were batch differences. The one I tested was very purpley and had no noticeable shimmer. I was excepting a berry toned gloss with ruby shimmer like on temptalia. I didn't notice any. I was completely bummed.

Ok so it isn't just my failing eyesight. I like the color but it really wasn't what I was expecting, especially after seeing some of the lovely swatches here.

I really like the way NI looks. It's the swatch on the bottom, correct? I'm on the hunt for a nudeish/light LS, just to have & I didn't even give this a 2nd glance b/c I assume colors like these are never, ever going to work for me. I've asked a million times for a nice light or nude lippie but for a darker skin tone so it doesn't make me look sick, because I am sick, but still haven't found the one. I know someone mentioned Brave New Bronze so I'm keeping an eye out for it. Thank you for the swatch & the lemming for NI HOB I'd love to get my hands on NI b/c FTS is going to be too light. Shhhhhoooot! Enjoy your lippies HOB.

Well.... I succumbed I now feel grossly broke, but I made a big haul

I got:

Ultimate Dish, Liquer, By Design, Feed The Senses, Deliciously Rich, Sex & The Oyster (partly for the name LOL), Palace Pedigreed, and Divine Decadence.(along with Soft Ochre PP).

I'm also a little bit mad at my MAC. Called first thing this morning, asked for my things to be set aside to be picked up after work. The girl said no problem. I arrive, ask for my things, girl searches... my goodies are not there waiting for me.

thankfully, they hadn't sold out so I was able to get it all... I would have pitched a fit if their mess up had cost me this

From the swatches I've seen on the quad this PP looks to be improved, a good 2 layers equals even opaque coverage. On the eyes it spreads nicely not patchy at all.

Love both but I was all about Boys Don't Cry when I first got these. Now I'm giving Rotonde some deserved love. Rotonde is like a light terracotta/dark peach color

I'm sad for your wallet and glad you got everything you wanted! Sounds like a great haul! And as for calling and having things held?....it's not an uncommon story for them to either not care or, forget when it gets busy. It happens a lot. It's just better to go down there before the store opens, "if possible" to look at new collections. Your chances of getting everything you want is much better. In this case though you were lucky to get what you wanted. However for some, not so much.

Did not opt for the lipsticks. I did ordered FTS online but when I swatched at the counter, it did not look well on my face.

A friend decided I needed some cheering up and pulled me to Macy's. I finally got to test a few items of interest. I was gifted PP es and DD es. The sales rep restricted me from anymore purchases. She kindly reminded me that she knows I will be getting stuff from Nordies. She is right plus I am house sitting at my mom while she is on vacation and may stay here for a bit and I have no space to go overboard anymore. When I was leaving she gently pulled me aside and whispered that I have lost weight but reassured me that it looks good. I did try LFL gloss and it was made for me! I love LFL. So excited to pick up my items tomorrow night. I did not have any problems with the texture of Beluga and PP which was a concern from reviews. I will get Beluga, Eat, Love, DD x 2 since I got one tonight, LFL and BG paint pot plus the peachy prep and prime highlighter thingy

Aww! That's a good friend right there! Good looking out! Retail therapy is always nice. I'm surprised at the Sales girl cut you off too but, I can see where she is coming from. I hope things start getting better for you!

Uh oh! I think I want Deep Cravings now. I liked it but I skipped it because there is a dark grey in one of the Chanel quads I want. But I use my single shadows more than the ones in quads/palettes. I think I may be in for a second haul. Crazy. I thought I wouldn't get much from this collection.

I skipped it b/c I didn't think I'd use a color like this and Eat,Love... but once again. Specktra is taunting me.
