well, one thing about LEs - you usually get the latest version of the formula, new technologies, and special color mixes that have just that little extra oomph or are color matched to be perfect for that season's fashions. I'd rather get an LE than a perm item more often than not, although MAC's lip pencils are in a special category, as far as I'm concerned!

I often skip liner and am wearing FOD right now with no liner, but I do think if any type of lipstick really needs a liner to look its best, it's the vampy matte colors - they cry out for a sharp outline.

I'm a very yellow NC15 and 3RY is not right on me - it looks good with my eye color, but it is all wrong for my skin. If I was 20 years younger, it'd be OK, though - I had yellows like that back then (my skin was much more neutral toned back then too, however).

same here. I'm hoping DD is still around when I can afford it. I was thinking the shade could have been easily duped but after swatching it, it just had too much sparkle-y goodness in it for me to be okay with passing on it.

I think DD will still be around, that sparkle-y goodness is just too good to pass up!

I just received my black box with Sex and the Oyster and Smash Hit. It arrived after I'd done my makeup so I haven't tried it yet but I tried Smash hit over Ravishing and it's lovely!!! It made it nice and shimmery!!

Those of you who have Palace Pedigree (the purple one)----- Would you wear this as more of lid color or smoked out in the crease? I keep trying to look up looks with this color but not much luck

I'd wear it both ways. I just found a pic of someone wearing Deep Damson which is kind of on the same base as Palace Pedigree and she's wearing it on the lid.

What is Deep Damson? is it a MAC color? I just called to put Palace Pedigreed on hold. Thanks for the pic

Thanks hun! I was just looking at the pic again and not I'm like...do I need Palace Pedigree now? I'm really liking Deep Damson. Dang. Are they different enough? Dang. LOL!!

Here's a look I plan to try very soon.... She used Deep Damson with Rose (pro shadow) in the tear duct. I don't have Rose but I do have Da Bling so I will be using that instead.

I've been having Deep Damson for a long time but I've hardly ever used it. I plan to change that.
