MAC - Jeanius Discussion

Got a copy of my In-Style magazine and they had a clip about the Jeanius eyeshadows and all the textured e/s available this Spring. I found myself starting to fall for the gimmickiness of it. They had the blue eyeshadow with copper pearl and it really does look like a swatch of a blue jean with the belt loop. It was REALLY cute. I feel myself caving even though I hate gimmicks and overspray. It was drawing me like a magnet. Maybe I better start looking into some 12 step groups. I mean crimininy, I don't even wear blue eyeshadow more than two, three times a year at best. But it was darling I tells you!

I know what you mean about budgeting. I've overspent recently, especially after swearing I was going to go easy on WW. I'm just as glad that this one is looking a little disappointing after all.

I found out today we won't get Jeanius here in Finland. Luckily the only thing I want is Pink Cult so not much to hunt from abroad.

I got my hands on Indigo Pink and I am positively surprised. Very little pearl if any at all. It's almost cream, and I love the colour. But I still hate the sticky fealing of lipglass though.

thanks sweetie! and that is sensible setting money aside for your haul. that is what i do - although this month it didnt work out so well because we had wonder woman released early so i took money from my savings to pay for the 4 items that i wanted! i shall put it back when i get paid again though

yup!! i guess its sensible to do that.. although my bf says spending that much money on makeup is not very sensible. haha. different definitions i guess.. much prefer yours!

well i am sure that your bf must have a hobby too right? my guy likes to buy computer games and they are very expencive! sometimes a new one will be £40. so on the rare occasion he raises an eyebrow at what i am buying i point out all the games he has purchased! not that he had done that in the past few years. he has grown to accept my make up buying!

LOL that means I'm in trouble because I like to buy both computer games AND makeup

. All the more reasons I'm skipping Jeanius. Blue e/s and purple lippies aren't really my thing (even though I love Flaunting It ).
