I noticed that too, doesn't bode too well :sWell, here it is nearly 6 o'clock in the morning and no signs of this collection. It isn't even on the site map. *le sigh*![]()
you are so right! I worked in a call center in college and took calls for major companies like general mills, pillsbury (our company also handled kelloggs, hitachi, sharp, among others). People would call and assume we were the company and we could answer product info we were trained on but when it came to special marketing campaigns or new products we were clueless and had our scripted verbiage, I often think mac customer service is also in a call center with people that know as much as we do!I never go to MAC chat for anything, it seems to only be helpful when you are asking about products and their uses or what liner will go with such and such lipstick. I don't think they keep them up to speed on the collections.
:haha:Almost like an abandoned building with few squatters!
It also makes sense that when you go on mac chat, the only options I've seen are ones for product advice. I think you're right.you are so right! Who you telling smh... I could give away some and still be ridiculously stocked up smh lol.I could not buy lipstick for the next DECADE and be okay. SMH.
Thanks for checking! Interesting.I just did a live chat with Erika and she reported back that it is still 'anticipated' to launch today. When, I don't know. I see MAC hasn't tweeted about it either.
I doubt it, honestly. Maybe some customers are upset, but they'll be back. This is just pure scattershooting/speculating on my part, but is it possible that there is a mini MAC backlash going on? I'm looking at the Matte Lip Collection. You mean to tell me that MAC suddenly got their act together and have enough stock that one week AFTER that collection launched not one color has sold out? I mean, not even the much coveted Fashion Revival? I could see if maybe that one and another have sold out and the rest remained but not ONE? I think the Rocky Horror delay debacle exhausted a LOT of people. Barely anybody is in this thread although it is just 2 colors and for a lot of people, a non-unique red. Couple that with Nasty Gal being in limbo as well as Ultimate not coming out when originally stated you can't help but wonder. Granted NG, Kinky, and Ultimate aren't considered anywhere near as big as Rocky Horror or even Matte Lip but you can't help but wonder. Just thinking out loud while waiting to see if this latest collection with no promo is indeed going to launch.hboy:
Oh I never said it was permanent.I doubt it, honestly. Maybe some customers are upset, but they'll be back.
the torture continues....Alright, I just got off the phone with MAC corporate and was told that Kinky will not launch today and has been delayed. She doesn't know the date. She says that it hasn't been scratched, just delayed. I asked her if I should wait a couple of weeks to call back and she said just a week would be okay cause you never know what might change. Incidentally, she said that Nasty Gal is supposed to come out NOVEMBER 16th (which is a Sunday).
What in the wide wide world of sports is going on with MAC?
Ugh. What else would one expect when they set a million collections for one month. They overwhelm themselves.Alright, I just got off the phone with MAC corporate and was told that Kinky will not launch today and has been delayed. She doesn't know the date.
