I got this earlier in the week but the weather has been terrible so I'm just now getting around to swatching it. It is gorgeous though! Not a groundbreaking color or anything but the application/formula is really great so I'm happy to have it.

If you are feeling torn, I'd wait. Do you have enough red lipsticks to last you a while? I don't know about you, but I used to buy so much more makeup than I'd ever go through in a lifetime! I looked around at my massive collection. In the beginning, I was so proud of my stash. Then it became a side job just simply trying to figure a way to implement all the stuff I had bought, so I wouldn't feel so wasteful. Then there was the issue of where to put all of this makeup; quickly followed by an organiztional system in place so I could find what I was looking for when getting ready. Then a morbid thought ran through my mind on several occasions. I found myself thinking that if I kicked the bucket, someone would be coming in and seeing my massive collection and thinking, "What was she thinking? Did she ever think she was going to actually to go through all of this makeup?" I felt like some kind of closet hoarder. It was really just too much. There was not a reason on God's green earth, did I "need" 150 MAC lipsticks. Keep in mind, that was just MAC, not all of my other brands. I have since slimmed my collection down to using one eye shadow palette, two additional crease colors, one lipstick, two blushes, about five or six lipglosses and several eye pencils. I feel so much freer now. I'm not saying that I wouldn't be open to an additional palette a little bit down the road, but I plan from know on the keep it simple; to use the things that I would use on a daily basis. I wish you the best in your decision-making process.
I do have several reds since I have a bit of a weakness for them. I totally get you on the large stash having pride and then slight panic and stress over it which is why I've started doing more frequent purges and selling off of things that are still good but I just don't use. I have my Naked 1 palette now that I use for neutrals and for when I want brights I made a palette of Sugarpill pressed shadows. I still have a bit of a ways to go in thinning out the ol' stash, but it's getting there! Thanks for the well wishes.I wish you the best in your decision-making process.

Oh wow 150 Mac lipsticks! I feel ya girl I had to purge my collection a few months back as well and I am proud to say that everything I own are items that I love and adore and would have a hard time getting rid of. I admire you going from 150 lipsticks to just 1! wow!It is a beautiful red matte. I was surprised how much I liked it.
Yea it is gorgeous and I love the name, I've really been loving and wearing reds a lot lately. If I do purchase this it will be my last red that I buy

You are literally speaking to my life lol! I think I have about 100 lippies total, including brands outside of MAC. These days, I just do not need so much. I have to check my stash first before making purchases because I just can't be bothered with having 4 of a similar color if it's not something I wear often. I realized I have about 6 or 7 diff red lipsticks, so Kinky is a no-brainer skip for me. The good thing is that I'm really just a lipstick collector. Shadows, foundations, blushes, etc, I don't really hoard that kind of stuff. But I'm in trouble now because I am IN LOVE with these new matte liquid lipsticks that are all over the place, and my entire stash is being ignored because of those lol!I wish you the best in your decision-making process.
