These looked much different when we saw pics of them last year...they aren't very dazzling at all, they all just have a bit of silver shimmer in them. Might get 1...
Oh yes, forgot these were supposed to be "dazzling", they look like regular eye shadows to me...

I'm hoping these are just horrible quality swatches...
Oh, hopefully! Of course, glitter might be hard to catch in a photo, but these look disappointing. I actually imagined them to look more complex/special, based on the fancy descriptions. For example like applying Mac's translucent loose Glitter on a colorful base (I love Quite Natural Paint Pot with the glitter in Translucent Teal on top). These swatches aren't really appealing to me. But I don't mind, my bank account is happy then.

Pretty shadows !! Now I have shiny toy guns Le Disko stuck in my head...
I just saw this thread and all I can think of now is that song. I'll have to find it on my iTunes playlist now. Im going to be the optimist and bet that these will be somewhat like Legendary Lure, etc. from AA, in that the light hitting them makes the sparkle come out more. I prefer that to full on glitter these days anyhow. I have mostly all matte shadows so I might pick a few of these up. Plus I'm excited to see some single e/s! I love my singles for some reason. I love the names, too. I think it has that 70's theme that is so popular right now.

Lol I prefer single e/s so I'm excited for these :) And I like that I can carry these around in my makeup bag unlike my NARS Night Series which I'm afraid will shatter

It's strange, but what concerns me about these eyeshadows is that Mac describes them as having "minimal fallout". Even mentioning fallout seems to me to be an admission that there is some. Considering how many products they say where there's no mention of fallout at all, I'm nervous as to why they felt the need to add the reference to this product...

One of the first things my MA mentioned was that they didn't have fallout like pressed pigments.

I'm even not sure about the glosses. I do love how Dazzleglass looks freshly applied, but it doesn't vanish evenly from my lips but tends to look a little nasty. Just tried Like Venus from a Christmas set again today.

Huh, these aren't really what I expected. I was thinking they'd be insanely sparkly, literally 'dazzling', but these don't look that different to any other glittery eyeshadow.

You are all welcome! I am not impressed either...Honestly I thought I would love them, but so far they look a bit boring in color.
The descriptions sounded lovely though lol

If the eyeshadows have sparkles that shine in different colors, it's possible (even likely) that they'll look different at different angles and with different lighting. While those swatches in the photos aren't terribly impressive, i'm not writing them off yet, for the reasons i mentioned. Plus they could look very different in person. So i'm looking forward to more swatches and seeing them in person.

That's what I was thinking. Very sparkley shadows don't photograph well unless you're using some kind of macro lens with the right lighting. I feel these are going to be those types of products that you have to see in person to appreciate.

The shadows are an easy skip for me, but I might pick up Cherry Popping (pending swatches) and Boys Go Crazy (already have one and love it).
