MAC - MAC in Lillyland Discussion

Betsey would be awesome, but Vivienne would be great,too. I don't know much about this Lily person, but I don't mind at all b/c this collection seems pretty good from what I've learned. I like the title Mac in Lilyland, too. Very cute. I like girly things.

Hahaha...I love Vera Bradley and have no idea who Lily Pulitizer or Vivienne Westwood are. I don't care who they team up with though, really. If I like the products I buy them and if I don't I don't regardless of the celebrity involved or the packaging. So far nothing in this collection is calling my name with the possible exception of the blushes.

That may be all of us one day! I can just see it now...Hanging out in some Florida retirement home, MES glitter in our wrinkles, lipglass feathering in every direction, comparing swatches of MSF collections with over 200 compacts (because you know we'll never finish 1 and they'll keep releasing them!), glamming up for bingo night with the ladies...oh yeah!

I think I am going to pass this whole collection. As usual, MAC is releasing colour collections like crazy, so I have to be discerning in my choices.

I'm skipping this also. I have enough blushes that I don't need these new creme ones, though they DO sound pretty.

And the eyeshadow seems gimmicky at best.

Agree, I have decided to pass these cremeblend blushes as well. I want the two new BPBs with All Ages, All Races... for sure and if we get a Disney collection, there will be a hot blush or two as well. I am sure

I might want a lipgelee or two but still undecided. I also love the face powder but need to see more swatches and I'm curious of the amount of product. I am also liking the nail polishes. These are all maybe's so this may be a small haul, or nothing. Which I'm actually grateful for lol

i'm only getting 1 blush from this collection now. and that' mainly because i have nevertried a cream blush before and would like to see how easy they are to work with. i did quite like the look of the shadow but i'd end up using the green colour only and leaving the other two which is kinda pointless! so a cheap collection for me!

also very curious about the textures of the face powder and blush creme

From the swatches we have seen (thanks Erin!) they are super sparkley. I love sparkle, but these are a little much for me. I personally love Slicked Pink lipgelee - very soft and mellow.

Good choice, Lou. The blushes really do look beautiful. And I am tempted, but I keep reminding myself of how many blushes I have (a LOT) and then the lemming dies. I look forward to hearing how you like these.

The eye & face powders are what appeal to me the least, so I will be interested to see what you think of them.

The collections I am excited for are Warm & Cozy and All Races, All Sexes.......
