I just put everything I wanted in my Mac bag online and I was shocked at the total. I had to do some serious editing. So, for this collection, I'm only getting the 2 lipgelee's Preppy and Lush & Bright. I don't need the blushes. First of all, I have a ton of Nars blushes that I am nowhere near finishing and second, I haven't been using blushes very much at all. I can live without it.

OK ladies and gents the lip gelees are amazing! Great coverage and glittery goodness. I am getting three of the four. The creme blushes are also wonderful. The eyeshadows and powder just weren't that interesting to me so I shall pass on those.

I'm focused it's all about the blushes for me. I organized my traincase yesterday and realized I have a ton of lipglees that I don't currently use. While the colors speak to me I'm going to have to stick to my guns and just get the blushes.

Yay for the blushes - they are so springy summery beautiful.

If you had to get just one, I would get Joie-de-vivre. I think that color will work on anyone.

Thank you for this post, my mind was going crazy, planning to buy ALL the creme blushes, but then I read this and it came back to earth- I have wayyy too many blushes, and recently bought some Nars and Illamasqua creme blushes that are just sitting around!

I will limit myself to 1 creme blush

I think I'll get just Resort Life and Preppy lip gelees. Although that face powder is awfully pretty...maybe I'll get that, too.

For those who have it, is Joie de Vie as pink when applied as the swatches show? It looks kind of orange in the pot to me.

It's a pinky coral. It is very pretty sheered out. It was my favorite color of the 4

You're welcome

. I love just sitting around thinking of what I'm going to buy b/c it gives me time to work logic into my decisions.

I think I MIGHT pick up one blush. The swatches tell me that Florida belongs on my cheeks, but it doesn't go with the 2 lipgelee's I'm going to buy. Maybe I'll get JDV. It depends on what they look like on me tomorrow.

Anyone swatch the PearlMatte face powder? The compact looks so pretty, but that large dark petal worries me. I'm NC 20 and think it will end up too dark, even blended with the other colors. Thoughts?

TIA

I think the beauty powder is pretty too, but I can't believe that they really want $27 for it. I am used to BP costing $20, where have those days gone?

Although, I am more than willing to shell out $20 for the new and reduced pigments! Funny how that works.

I also thought they totally reminded me of the Barbie shadows from Spring 07'. Springtime Skipper, Playful (the pink), and maybe not Magic Dust (that looked frostier), but that white in the Lilly trio is totally dupable.

Will not be sucked in by cute packaging (anymore than I already am...)

Karla Sugar's swatches in the swatch forum show it on her NC15-20 (I believe) skin, and it does look a tad orange imo, but maybe if it's blended out well enough it will look okay.

I'm interested in the face powder but still think it might be a tad dark for me as overall powder. I wear NW25 in studio sculpt.

Got a glimpse of the collection during my lunch hour! I was all set to buy the pearlmatte powder but it swatched a bit orangey on my NW15/20 skin. I think it's a bit similar to Refined MSF but a tad warmer maybe? I like Refined better. Maybe I picked up too much of one color? I dunno. The blushcremes are pretty - very pigmented except for So Easy, So Sweet. That one went on very sheer! I only picked up Joie de Vivre which is super gorgeous and Coconut Ice n/p.
