that's what put me off the blushers... or any cream blush to be fair - the fear of getting spots agian! i had terrible acne and like you have some scarring, i've never really tried a cream product on my cheeks but would be interested to see the answer!

Audrey,

Did you use any of the creme blushes in the past? I'm wondering if they could give you a sample to try out. There is something new in these that kinda soft focus the skin, so maybe they wouldn't settle into any lines???

Also, mine came really cold which I personally think help with consistency. Sometimes it helps to keep things in the fridge.

I passed on it b/c I have Taj Mahal by Nars, which is like a burnt orange, but if this thing is coming out peach...

. I also have a peachy Nars blush and I keep forgetting if it's called Gina or Gilda. I got it not too long ago. No enabling, please.

I may get it still or chance it and wait until more info on the Spring Color forecast blushes and decide then....

It's always hard to say which product will or won't break anyones skin out. I know mine is super sensitive too. It's like the new mineralalize lotion, some loved it & it broke others out

I wore the creme blushes for quite awhile (different color on each cheek

) yesterday & so far so good.
Since I've switched to all Chanel only for my skin care - I hardly ever have break outs anymore.

I had bad acne as a teenager and definitely prefer powder blushes - I will pass those ones!

I was loving the face powder but decided against it after swatches. Not wowing me really.

I also loved So Sweet, So Easy from the get-go but decided not to get any cremeblushes. Yet, I thought to myself So Sweet, So Easy would be a very pretty lip colour! Then I read that you CAN in fact use it for lips!

I was wondering if it's at all like Prive, which I love, from the BB collection.

Christine from Temptalia will be doing lip swatches of the blushes today or tomorrow!

i went to a counter to check out the cremeblend blushes again. still don't like the texture. i tried the coral one on bare skin (with a 188 brush). it's now 3 and a half hours later and still feels sticky on my cheeks. though i should add that nars cream blushes are the only ones ever worked with my oily skin.

oh, and i just realized that all 4 lipgelees have the same glitters in them. just different base colors. with no base color, the glitters look purply pink, very similar to shift to pink

I decided against the blushes again, too. I think it's pretty, especially Florida, but I don't like the way the lines in my hand were emphasized by it. Also, I'm moving away from blush and focusing more on eyes and lips. I've been slumming it lately by going out w/o foundation or concealer. Luckily, I can get away with it. I'm just not excited about Lillyland and that's a bummer because I defended it here when the details came out and some people were if-y on it.

What is the point of the 4 colours in the Pearlmatte Face Powder? You are supposed to swirl everything together anyway, are you not?

To answer your question, no, I have steered away from crene products in the past. I have never tried them, and honestly have not even been tempted. But these colors are what's drawing me. They are so beautiful! I did have the gel blush from Rose Romance, but ended up selling it because it dried my cheeks out terribly

I am thinking I better not press my luck with these, and hope that we see some bright powder blushes in the future *crosses fingers*

For a collection that I was going to skip entirely, I ended up with quite a few things and I love them all.

I got 3 of the 4 lip gelees. I am 44 and love sparkles but I know when to tone it down as well. With the right application these are beautiful and not the least bit "awful and juvenille" but, as usual, YMMV.

I also got Joie de Vie blush. It is gorgeous. Audrey, I share some of your same skin care concerns and have not had a problem with these. As far as them holding up to the Florida heat, as a gal who grew up in Pensacola and on the lovely beaches there, I can tell you that I think they will definitely hold up. I may go back and get "Florida" both for the name and because it is a cream version of my beloved Azalea pro pan powder.

Yeah to chip in to the blush love also! I have oily skin with problematic skin sometimes and so far my So Sweet, So Easy has not aggravated my skin. They wear pretty well too!

I am so tempted by these... maybe getting one won't hurt... I will see if I can snag a sample at my counter. I can't stop thinking about the gorgeous colors.

Yes, if you swirl it together you will get a great tan colour I guess!

But with a small brush like the 109 you can use the lightest colour as a highlighter as well.

I must stop reading this thread. I'm tempted to buy more and more from this collection. The e/s is still a turn off though.

I just bought three of the cream blushes in this collection and I am in love. The formula for these cream blushes are way better than the one for their permanent ones which I find really sticky. It's really buildable coverage. In love!

Agh, I shouldn't have gone back in to Nordie's today, b/c I ended up buying Optimistic Orange- I need to be saving for the other upcoming collections!
nonono.gif
But these blushes are great, I love how easily they blend so you can wear them really intense like PRO colors, or really lightly.

I am in total love with these lip gelees!!! I was totally seduced and got all 4 (plus so sweet so easy & joie de vie blush).

I tried one of the gelees (preppy- I think) on as soon as I got in the car & happened to catch a ray of sunshine & almost squealed out loud at how pretty the sun played on the sparkles! I think these will be the bees knees this summer!!!

Have the lip gelees in the past been this fantastic cause I see them from time to time in my CCO & just passed them by....

I will not buy anything else from this collection! I am trying to repeat that to myself over and over but it isn't working. I really want to buy the other three blushes that I skipped. I tend to use the same blush everyday so I am not sure why I feel such a draw to these.

how are you guys applying the creamblushes? I personally hate the permanent ones as they are stiff and stickly and it goes on blotchy >
