MAC - Makeup Art Cosmetics Discussion

I'm loving the Photorealism Quad right now! I only used Grey Range and Photorealism eyeshadows so far and they are amazing! What's haunting me right now is Brash & Bold pigment! I do want to get it but I'm trying not to make another online order since the Vegas trip is making me save up to go to the Pro store.

Samples! Ask for samples when you're in the store. No feeling guilty, you spend a ton and they make a ton on you!

Photo realism with a green base looks amazing. I also like to add a little depth with my dark dark green shadow. Can't think right now what it's called, but if you want more pop, these two things help. It's not a flashy quad but I'm finding that the colors go on true to what I see in the palette.

I will try to ask for samples if I ever do go to the MAC store since I rarely ask for samples of anything.

Wow, I never knew you could get samples! At the stores only or will the counters give them as well?

You can get samples at either the counter, kiosk or store, including Pro Stores. My experience is that at Pro Stores they are more 'Pro'active about asking if you'd like a sample. I've gotten samples of pigments, glitters, eye creams, etc. They should always be able to give them to you, however, I have heard some complaints that sometimes they don't have the little containers. I would suggest, if you have that problem more than once, bring it up to a manager. Usually the MA's are very happy to let you have samples. HTH

my photo realism quad and the perfect cheek arrived today
looooove the quad it suits my green eyes so perfect *dead*
and the perfect cheek really is the perfect cheek on me! its like my cheeks but better whoa. i was so hoping not to regret buying this blush. all those swatches looked so different, but now i'm the happiest cow that i own it.

I'm hoping they have Brash and Bold pigment still in stock; I'm going to buy a full jar of it next week. It's so gorgeous and versatile!

I got Hold the Pose today and it's the perfect burgundy l/s, my fall lipstick hehe

The darkest I have now... And I'm not into the black lips look so this'll do as the dark lip for me.

Also, I'm about to buy The Perfect Cheek on ebay (you guys know how I've gone back and forth on this one right...? )

^^ Or just stay of Specktra for awhile... I find that when I just ignore the threads and pretend I don't know a new collection came out, I am not as tempted. I took a few months off from Specktra awhile back and amazingly I didn't buy MAC for that time
