I found that sometimes you could bring a tiny pot and the MA would give you a bit of the foundation to try at home (probably just one or two squirts). I like it this way unless the product really impresses me, or there's a discount. Then... *you know what happened*

Looking at this collection as a whole it's probably the only one lately that I've really liked. If I wasn't on such a tight budget at the moment I really could have gone wild.
Didn't have a yellow eyeshadow prior to this but I picked up Crest The Wave and love it, definitely the right tone of yellow for myself however I'm yet to really experiment with all the looks I can create with it as yet. Like the idea of pairing bright colours with neutrals though as other ladies here have suggested! I also managed to pick up Artistic License technakohl, hard to get as it was out of stock on the website initially and sold out at my local counter. Wore it yesterday on its own just for a quick pop of colour and it was nice, only slight criticism is that to me in certainly looked more vibrant in swatches. Required quite a few layers to acheive the same look!

Yeah I eard so many bad reviews on it, but when I was at the store I swatched it and damned... I may ahve to go and get it... the mattes were super creamy.. everyone was saying chalky?!?! chalky like.. matte? The only downside is Lightfall.

Make a database of the looks you want to try. I do that. I was down last winter for about 6 weeks, and I had time, so I went through my makeup and wrote down the combos that I wanted to try. 9 months later still haven't got through half, but having fun trying.

Yay more In The Gallery love! Lightfall isn't that big a deal for me since it's practically my skin color lol.

Perhaps it's because I'm a newbie MU user, but I love my Cocomotion pigment! Notable blush looked so great on my cheek. The Obviously Orange eyeliner made my lips looks peachy perfect

But yeah, if MAC release lots of stuff every so often, my wallet cries! On the other hand, I love the rush of sneak previewing their new LE

Yeah, definitely after Style Black, NO MORE makeup. I hardly used half of the stuff I got from Makeup Art Cosmetics yet. Enough is enough!
