I dare MAC to release another chalky hard to work shadow because as of today, I'm prepared.

Got Fresco Rose on the way to manipulate Maira's Mood as we speak. XD

Hey, where'd you get all those lovely NYX jumbo pencils? I just got my first one (Milk- after Tish's enabling) the other day from Ulta. I am in LOVE with it already! I am already wanting more of them so seeing your pic of NYX porn just made my day

Yeah, I tried warming it up and it didn't help one bit. Thanks, though. The colors are so beautiful, but it's so meh on the waterline. Something told me not to bother b/c there are just certain mac products I know to stay away from, but these colors were calling me.

Thanks for that idea. I may try that before I hand them off to a friend.

Thanks for the advice!

I think I will get two of them then.

The colors are pretty, but putting them on my lower lash line, they come out clumpy and they get into my lower lash hairs and it looks like a jumbled mess. I have long lower lashes and they seem to get in the way. It seems like the texture of the liners are a problem. I don't have this problem with mufe's aqua eyes. I think their texture is a little harder. Ugh, I am sad about this b/c the orange, lime and blue liners are stunning. I'll just give them to a friend.

Oh no, really? Is the texture different with the new ones, compared to the permanent technakohls? I have one technakohl form the permanent line and that works fine with me. I really hope they are the same because I adore those new colours!

I don't know PinkBasset. These are the first technakhols's I've ever bought. I really can't compare b/c I've never even played around with the permanent ones.

I would probably check it out as well, if I knew where NYX is sold around here, if it is!!!

And for those that have been inquiring about Maira's Mood, it really showed up plenty when I used it over Canton Candy paint (which I realize is no longer available), but it's definitely workable.

I have to disagree about Notoriety. As a pale person I am so happy that MAC decided to include a wearable soft brown in their collection. A lot of the browns they carry are just too dark for me to wear except in the outer corner.

Now on the other hand ..Colour Matters is more yellow on my skintone and well it looks kind of sickly on my eye..like I'm jaundicied in the eye? Not a good luck for me.

While I can absolutely understand your standpoint, as an artist I like my eye shadows to have versatility. As the "crease" shade of the quad, this shade gives me no depth. With extremely pigmented shades and dark shades, I myself find it easy to blend, soften, and apply lightly to get a paler, less dark result. With this shade, you can build and build and it's still gonna be a too pale greyed out brown. As a collection that claims to be inspired by artistry and makeup artistry, it is surprisingly limited.

I don't blame you for my purchases, but I have been using your hubby's new TV as an excuse!
lol.gif
It goes something like this:

Hubby: Another MAC order?
Me: Tish's husband just got a new 52" TV so what's the big deal if I get another lipstick?
Hubby: Who is Ti...What brand is the TV? Where did he get it?

Thank your hubby for me. His purchase is an instant topic changer!

LOL Tish you crack me up!

That is so weird that the NYX Pencils crease on you guys... I just use like one or two small swipes with Milk, blend it with my finger, and it's a WONDERUL base for all the shadows I have ever tried with it! It really gets them to stick and makes them last longer. I even ran outside in the FL humitidity and went to the gym and my shadow still looked awesome when I got done!
