I saw this collection on Saturday. It was released together with the nail polish collection. I haven't been following this thread very closely recently because I am too busy and stressed with work.

Perhaps I wasn't in a good mood so I wasn't very excited when I saw the collection.

Off the Page is smooth and pigmented and it is the stand out among the single e/s but I don't wear orange e/s so I passed easily. I also like the lipglasses. The Perfect Cheek is the only item I resisted buying. It is a simple but pretty matte pink.

I didn't play with the pigments and glitters but Brash & Bold and Push the Edge look beautiful in the jar. I didn't feel that I need any of the quads. Maybe Tone: Grey quad will make me feel that I need it.

I did end up taking her to the hospital tonight when her fever hit 105, and I've been giving her Tylenol every four hours to bring it down. She was diagnosed yesterday with an infection and prescribed antibiotics. Well, generally antibiotics do take effect pretty darn fast, so when she got worse and worse today, i panicked. The ER physician diagnosed her with the same thing, but said the medication we were given wasn't the best for that type of infection, which could explain why she wasn't responding. So he changed it and she should feel better by tomorrow. So I'm hoping by Monday morning she'll be good to go.

Awww, I hope your little one feels much better soon! Sending good thoughts and magical e-hugs your way.

I picked up In the Gallery & Photorealism - I skipped the Notoriety quad but may go back for it. I also got all of the liners (cannot WAIT to use these!) and some of the lippies - Hold the Pose, Lovin' It, Personal Taste & On Display. Skipped the blush (meh).

I just can't resist the quads.......

Thanks so much everyone for your posts! This is why I love Specktra.

So my daughter is feeling a whole lot better today. The new medication started working quickly and she finally broke her fever in the night. That's the great thing with kids, they can rebound so quickly with the right medication. She is actually three, but I call her my baby because she's the younger of my two! She's actually sitting with me right now having a Starbuck's green tea latte (very milked down!). Her and I will be grabbing our Starbuck's and hauling MAC together in about another ten years! (And DH is thrilled about that, hehe!).

Once again thanks so much for the well wishes. I'm so glad that I found this community.

I did not end up doing the B & B look, i did a look using Off the Page e/s instead today, which I am really happy with, and very surprised at that because normally I don't gravitate toward anything in the orange family. I have used it more than any of the other shadows from the collection.

I thought they were nice, but really, nothing was close to being a must have imo. My favourite of the bunch is High Strung, which is permanent anyway!

This is off topic - but does anyone know if the McQueen paint pots have been counterfeited? I've been looking for Pharaoh from Ebay and want to make sure I buy the real thing. TIA!

This is a bot off topic, but I really need some opinions: I saw a tut by DRBrooklyn on youtube where she used Omega shadow and I'm wondering if I should get it. It looked nice on her and it seems like a color that can be useful, but makeupalley gives it a low rating. It seems women of darker complexions say it makes them look ashy. I want to use it as a crease color. Can you guys help me out if you're familiar with that color?

I guess I like what everyone don't like...I really like Omega it is a great Neutral....Then again I love matte anything

I, myself, looove shimmery shadows, but I think I need some different things once in a while. At first I was going for crazy, bold colors because that's what I love, but then it's hard to put a look together because I love bold lips. I don't want my eyes, lips and cheeks competing against each other. So, I need to find nudes/mattes to work with.

Glad to hear she's doing better. When our kiddos are sick, so are we, sick at heart!

I can't say if they've been counterfeited, but I would be a little concerned about buying them as they do have a tendency to dry out and if you get if from ebay, you can't take it back and get it replaced. I suppose I'd check the 'gone but not forgotten'. You would likely get it cheaper there too I'd assume.

Anyone know if "gone but not forgotten" charges standard prices?
