Nora i'm super super glad your little girl is feeling better. It's horrible when they are ill as you would do anything to make it go away for them knowing you can't. But the main thing she's on the mend

My girl was back to her usual self causing crap tonight!

So I was able to get some packing done tonight, and found myself grabbing quite a bit from this collection to take with me. I packed the Notoriety quad, my self made Cool Heat quad (Solar White, Gulf Stream, Cool Heat and Plumage), Off the Page & Purple Shower. Not sure if any of you can relate, but I personally pick my mu based on my mood, and it can really vary from day to day!

And all those shadows and I packed one gloss, hahaha!

Perhaps I wasn't in a good mood so I wasn't very excited when I saw the collection.

Off the Page is smooth and pigmented and it is the stand out among the single e/s but I don't wear orange e/s so I passed easily. I also like the lipglasses. The Perfect Cheek is the only item I resisted buying. It is a simple but pretty matte pink.

I didn't play with the pigments and glitters but Brash & Bold and Push the Edge look beautiful in the jar. I didn't feel that I need any of the quads. Maybe Tone: Grey quad will make me feel that I need it.

Aww I hope you're feeling better.

Work has been keeping me away from the MAC counters for the most part too; I haven't even seen this collection and the n/l collection yet.

Somehow I'm feeling a bit relieved after reading your review, seems like nothing really stood out. I need to cut down on my spending, and I hope few items in this collection will be "must-haves" for me.

Oh do I ever hear you on cutting back. After this collection, i was supposed to be on a no-buy, and ended up getting three items from Dior! I now will be pretty much skipping the next several collections, probably till the new year. And the odd thing is that I'm really not even sad about it. I think I may have reached a saturation point make-up wise, and actually look forward to using some of the many products I've bought this year.

I still look forward to reading about everyone's hauls though.

Now last week i did say dont purchase any of glitters just get smples i am sticking to that suggestion ladies except that copper colour i forgot what its called, but Damn!!!!! i am an NW45 and that shit is hot!!! I also feel that brash and bold and push the edge are pigments worth purchasing if you dont have colours like that in your collection.

CoComotion is normally always at the CCO's .....I can't talk about the regular glitters because I only like the Reflects Glitter so I am not a good one to ask about those..me not likes ...To me the winners IMHO opinion were Bold & Brash, PTE, Reflects Rust ....I tried the Fuschia & Gold Glitter although I loved them in the jar that is the end of it for me...I am not a Glitter Queen by any means....I really like Heritage Rouge but because it has been released before that is another one that is normally at the CCO as well...Ok I didn't help but there you go...The Reflects Copper...was pretty but did not woo me at all

Dead honest and the mofo's breaking out a Best Buy ad because our Sony 42" isn't worthy despite the room having 6 god darn speakers that echo everything. Swear to god, he was dumb enough to say he would like a tv in the bathroom and I got on him that if I can't store makeup in there because of humidity, how the eff would a tv survive? He works night shift and is dee dee dee come 12 noon.

Dilemma is I have a limit this week of $125 because the 3rd is our anniversary and he's pulled something already involving the harbor. I am in love with the pigments and glitters from this set but have to cut at least a couple to maneuver my Chanel quad as well. Could I survive with Gold and Reflects Copper glitter and remove Fuschia and get PTE and pick up Cocomotion from a good source later? I saw your stance on Heritage Rouge and many thanks because I'm hoarding for that quad despite not having an exact date....grrrr. Will those 3 do me over or will I have a regret about Fuschia glitter later?

Me and my damn long posts....throw some Adderall my way.

It depends on how much glitter you really think you'll use. I got samples from my MAC store and again from one of the counters and feel like even then I'll have enough to last till I'm dead with the reality of how often I'll use it. (I don't feel bad asking for samples since I've spent tens of thousands at MAC in the last few years)

I am waiting to get Off the Page and Haunting to hear more reviews. I have Firespot and love it, though I just recently started using it, so holding off on OTP.

I have firespot and to me it's a different orange to OTP. To me, OTD is more of a dusty tangerine colour whereas Firespot is more vibrant and frosty. Not sure if that makes sense, but hopefully it helps. To me, OTP is more wearable than Firespot... I did a FOTD with OTP the other day if you want to check that out.

I am such a sucker for orange/coral these days - I thought I'd get Violet Trance for sure but it's off my list and replaced by Off the Page!

OMG, I am on a mirror fast. (I know, sounds wierd but I felt compelled) It is soooo hard. You cannot imagine how much I want to play with makeup. My kids are begging me to leave them alone. I have until Tuesday to complete my fast and then I'll be playing with my new quad like crazy. Oh, and Brash & Bold. Haven't touched that little sweety yet.

Has anyone ever done this?
