I'm always excited about new foundations so I might check this one out too (although I haven't yet found a Mac foundation that wasn't just okay, hopefully this will be great)!

I just wish that Mac would release new synthetic brushes, I want my brushes cruelty free. Btw, does Mac ever repromote le brushes? I was hoping in future to get some of the synthetic le brushes that are no longer available (like 211, 169, 223 etc). If they would be making an appearance in some new collection, that would be great!

Ok guys. You are going to be really excited. According to Temptalia of what she said about the 130 Short Duo Fibre Brush, not only the new foundation is going to be permanent, the brush is also going to be PERMANENT!!!

If the shades are closer to Studio Sculpt than Studio Fix Fluid, I'll definitely give this a chance. Studio Sculpt in NC15 is currently the only MAC foundation that's fair enough.

I'm wondering if I should buy NC15 or NW15 in this...

I suppose I'm more of an NW but I prefer neutral shades on me (I'm N1 in True Match). I'm leaning towards NC15 right now, unless it's too yellow.

Hopefully there will be more info on the shades before the launch as I have to buy sight unseen either on ebay or order from the one counter we have over here.

MAC brushes ARE cruelty free. "Cruelty Free Beauty" is the name of the game, so you can rest assured now.

Most high end animal hair brushes, at least this is my understanding, are made from combings or clippings from animals not pelts. They aren't hurt in the process. Why kill your critter when you could be getting good quality hair for years, so it's more like sheep being sheered for wool than fur where the critter is killed. Yeah?

Animal abuse is never cruelty free. Even if they clip the hair out of them (could they be by-products from slaughterhouses?), it is wrong to use animals for our needs. I bet these animals are part of the mass farming and food industry and I will not take part in that cruelty in any way. In the end, if you buy animal products, even make up brushes, you always give your money away to this industry that keeps animals suffering in horrific conditions and then kills them.

I'm sorry, this is totally of topic, but I just wanted to make myself clear why I want my brushes animal free.

So did I!! But I will try it!

February will be a "basic" month for me. I will skip the LE collections, but need a new foundation, powder, mascara.... why not testing this one?
