i always used mayb elline foundations but over the past year i think they have gone down hill a bit, not long lasting and don't seem to agree with my skin anymore - some made me greasy and some gave me dry patches! so about 6 months ago i started using revlon colour stay and now on my second bottle because i love it so much!

because i'm not near a mac store i tend to go for drug store brands which i can try. i guess i'll have to see if anybody can do a comparison of this foundation to the colour i use with revlon to get a match!

Your not the only one Lou. I've never bought a MAC foundation before either. I've been using Revlon's ColorStay Foudation, L'Oreal's True Match foudation and Maybelline's Mineral Power Liquid Foudation. I'm so going to try this foundation for sure though.

I used to have the same problem with studio sculpt. After trying it with the 187, 109, 182, fingers and wedges, I'd have to say the best is still sponge wedges. I spray 2-3 squirts of Fix+ on the wedge, and use it to apply studio sculpt. Applies evenly.

I think the upcoming 130 will be awesome for studio sculpt too

^ I have not had the privilege of using those brushes yet, but rather a QUO one and a fake MAC one I was given in a set, but even after using Posh concealer brushes, I too find the wedges help smooth it all out evenly

That's great news!! That way if it fits me, can always get a backup later!!

I LOVE the brush! It must be mine.
And I really hope that this foundation fits me, I'm also looking for a new foundation. I'm currently using Revlon Colorstay but since I can't find my shade here in Mexico I have to ask family members or go to the US to get it and stuck up on it. Also lately I've been feeling like it's too much to put on my face, so I hope this is a good match for my skin.

Ok now I'm getting interested. I'll probably test this as I like trying out different foundations. I'm currently using MUFE HD, MUFE Duo Matt, MUFE F&B and MAC studio sculpt in rotation.

I hope that they will have a colour match for me. The only MAC foundation that matches me perfectly is studio sculpt in NW25. For studio fix I have to mix NW25 with NW30, I find it annoying :/

I also find this very annoying. Studio Fix has the perfect shade for me BUT it made me brake out horribly, not cool and sadly for my country there are no light shades in either high end or drugstore brands. So I'm either stuck with MAC and horrible skin or using the one and only foundation that has worked for me and thus stocking up on it but I'm already bored with it.
I really, really hope this works for me

i'm nervous about this, i'm not very fond of creamy consistency foundations, i learned that the heard way with my studio sculpt in Africa last May, i swear by my studio fix fluid BUT i will try this out .. like another member said it's not heavy and it looks like skin not product.

Me too. Not only does it have to be oil-free, water-based, featherlight weight, it has to come with convenient packaging (stupid Select SPF15 that does not have a pump

-- yeah, they don't sell the foundation pumps here in my country).

The thing that attracted me the most to this foundation is the fact that Erine mentioned it felt like nothing on her skin (and I know Erine does not like foundation on her face)

I've tried it and i really really like it!!, its creamy like moisture blend or studio tech, the finish is very natural and sheer like, good coverage but lite on the skin. Im nw45 in the other foundations, however i was surprised to find nc50 was the best match in this formula...so u may need to get re-matched.

I called my Nordies about this and they say 2/4. I told them that I had heard it was 2/18, but they are sticking with 2/4, so we'll see.

Thanks, I am really looking forward to it

It exactly sounds what I am looking for, just a bit of coverage, sheer and light on the skin

Do you by chance know your shade in Studio Sculpt? TIA
