The thing is I have a super oily, super dry combination skin and I have the hardest time getting my foundation without shine for more than 3 hours...even with the long lasting ones. Then the skin around my mouth, chin and most of my forehead is super dry so with time it peels off!!

So far, Chanel Mat Lumiere and Clinique Superfit have worked the best on my troubled complexion, but if you lovely ladies have truly oily skin and try this one with good results, I'd be glad to try it too.

Oh my!! Your skin issues sound very similar to mine! lol I have combination skin-oily, my dry areas also peel off sometimes, chin and cheeks so finding moisturizers and foundation is a nightmare.. this is my routine now and so far I'm liking the results.

Cleanser:L'occitane Riz Rice Foaming Cleanser
Moisturizer: L'occitane Riz Rice ultra matte fluid
Primer: Tarte Clean slate ( but this is not all the time I do my make up)
MAC Studio Sculpt Foundation
MAC Blotting powder

Before doing this routine I would have to touch up half a hour later of doing my make up! so frustrating but this routine I can be 2 to 3 hours and by that time I do not look super oily just a little bit and I just blot with papers, apply MAC blotting powder and I am good to go again.. I live in a very humid area so when the weather is cold/ no humidity I can go more than 3 hours without retouching.

^ i have oily skin too and i find myself having to paper blot more often when i use studio sculpt. perhaps it is studio sculpt that is making you extra oily? the prep and prime powder really helps with oilyness. try it out, i really like it better than blot powder. i only keep blot powder in my purse, but i finish my makeup with prep and prime powder with a fluffy brush over foundation

Thanks for sharing!! It's good to know I'm not the only one.

Have you tried L'Occitane Exfoliating Rice powder??? I've been wanting to try it but don't know anybody else who uses it.

Yay! I'm really looking forward to trying this, as my current mineral foundation isn't really doing it for me any more. It's great news that we'll get it in the UK at the same time as everywhere else

All I want from this collection is that brush! I am buying two because it looks so awesome. I'm glad I can't wear minerals because it's saving me some money. Lol
