The 130 is just awesome!!!

I'm soo in love with that brush!!!

By no means I feel it's tiny. I mean it's a small brush but it is seriously dense, IMO it's denser than the 187 and easier to use. It delivers the perfect coverage and blending. Because of its size it reaches every difficult spot easily and perfectly. I've been using it with concealer and the Teint Innocence Compact by Chanel (which is a gel foundation with 30% water besides vitamins and hydrating agents, am guessing pretty similar to this new one) and it was love at first use!!

For those complaining the brush and the new foundation give a streaky look, always remember to use circular motions. That way you'll get the maximum coverage, blending and flawless look.

Sadly, the brush is LE here and I was only able to get one. In summer when it makes another appearance, I'm getting a back up!!!

Hypathya thank you for your review! I ordered the 130 brush this week (along with True Babe l/g from Riveting) and I have been skeptical of it's size since seeing pictures...But hearing you and Erin rave about makes me excited to try it. It really does sound like a perfect foundation brush - and I do have a weakness for duo-fiber brushes, they do seem to leave a more airbrushed look.

I'm with you on that! Me too! I loved the coverage and that it was so portable. However, I didn't think it wore that well. Anyway, hopefull this new mineralize SPF 15 compact will wear longer.

I just did a live chat with a MA on mac.com. She says this foundation runs dark. I am NW20 in mineralize SPF liquid. She recommended I get this new foundation in NW15. Since I am ordering online...I hope she is right.

You're welcome dear!!

The actual brush size (bristles) is: 6/8 inch diameter wide and 7/8 height.

You won't regret having it. I think most people expected something bigger and then find this to be tiny. As I was expecting a small brush, I wasn't disappointed at all. The brush is seriously dense and firm, I truly believe this is the best foundation brush ever.

It is the perfect size, you'll see when you try it. Using it with circular motions gives you flawless and quickly application.

If you get it, tell me how you find it!!

It's limited? Just yesterday someone told me it was perm. Darn, I guess I should go ahead and buy two.
it's coming back out in the summer? I had no idea. I try not to look too far ahead.

Oh man, it's gonna take a lot to top my 109. My brush is, I guess, one of the rare ones that doesn't shed a bit. I adore it, but I can't wait to get my hands on the 130 this weekend (two of them since it's limited. That way I don't have to think about it later).

130 short due fibre brush..

I bought this brush a few weeks ago from a MAC store in London, I bought this one cause I was looking for a new brush to apply my Studio fix powder plus foundation with and this is what was advised to me instore..(I'm a complete MAC noob who has to ask what brushes to use
greengrin.gif
) I was told that it was a new brush that's be brought out for liquid and powders and that it's really great at getting into the little hard to reach places and blends nicely etc.

My first impression was that it was really small and have never seen anyone applying foundation with anything that small before, but from what she said it sounded good and went ahead and bought it.

When I got home and tried it out, I LOVED it! It picks up just enough powder for anough coverage, but little enough so that my skin looks so natural, slmost as if my skin is naturally this lovely and awesome!

It takes a little while to apply it all over as it's so small, and because it applies such a small amount, I fond that if I use liquid concealer beforehand, I have to put a translucent powder over those areas and then apply my foundation...

But overall, I am very impressed, but can't seem to find any other reviews on forums or on youtube for it.. SO.. I was wondering if any of you guys have tried it/heard of it.. and what you think!!

Thanks for readin

Shontay don't run and get 2 130's unless you're really sure you'll like it... it's perm in US.

It seems to be LE everywhere else (Mexico, UK, Germany, as far as I know). I'm in Mexico.

I got this brush yesterday, and my first impression it's so small! I haven't tried it out yet though.

For those of you curious about the size of the 130 brush, here is a comparison with the 188 and 187

^It is small! I knew that going in though and since I got it in person at the counter, I was able to see it first before buying... I think if you ordered it online thinking it was more comparable to the 187 size, you may be surprised!

Esp since the price is kind of steep $38 in US!

I really like the density though... since I plan on using it for foundation, I like the size for areas like around the eyes, nose, mouth... Now MAC just needs to make a bigger version of this brush

If this isn't meant for oily skin what is?? I was using Studio Sculpt and it was too cakey for me...now i'm using Nars but really want to wear MAC...you think Face and Body will work?

This brush is my absolute fav! I love the 187 but it leaves me streaky bc its not as dense or small. I may need another 130 too lol

I have oily skin too which is one of these reasons I am skipping this new foundation right now (that and the humidity in FL doesn't help LOL). I've been wearing Studio Fix but want to try out MUFE foundations... I have heard really great things about them
