MAC Nasty Gal Collection (Dec 4, 2014)

The gracious lady from one of the FB groups I'm in just spoke to someone at MAC corporate and was told that Nasty Gal was pushed to the end of this month for whatever reason. Take it for what you will, but I wanted to let ya'll know XOXO

So THAT'S where the "descriptions" came from. Yeah, they aren't the descriptions, just the enticing writing to pull you in. Everyone was trying to figure out what a sultry red looked like, and I'm over here like, " it's just red." :shrugs: :lol:

That hilarious! I'm over here thinking, how did these descriptions change all of a sudden? I copied em straight outta the book. But you know how mac has to pull you in. Like "vixen violet" isn't a real colour. Just something to catch your eye and make you feel emotion towards the colour. That's what they did with the red and burgundy.

I had been seeing the new descriptions being used so often that they kinda started to stick in my head as fact!

I'll give it to those MAC blurb writers though, they sure have a way with words making people believe there are shades called "lush burgundy" or "sultry red".

I'll be happy if this is officially pushed back so I can use this money for RHPS. Maybe MAC and Nasty Gal saw similar colors coming out in the up coming collections and knew people would rather get those lipsticks and skip this collection.

I like a couple. I'm a vampy lip gal. But don't get me wrong I love a good MLBB. I agree with you, there is something for everyone. Hate to ask, these are out at sephoras already? I'll make it a point to stop by and swatch. I love the description you gave, luxe on the lips and in the hands. A few companies forget to make the packaging feel luxe for the price. Thank you btw

Yep, I believe they hit the shelves on the 2nd of Sept. I just had my first chance to play with them yesterday. Give yourself a little time to go in and have at it! Trust me, you'll have a lineup of lovelies to try on and adimire. They truly are phenomonal. I am happy that you liked my description. I wanted to convey how wonderful these lipsticks are on so many levels. Kudos to NARS for a job well done! :encore: Dolly, you are more than welcome!

I don't see MAC giving us any explanation about this collection as we technically were not supposed to know about it anyway as others have previously stated. It is what it is.
