I know. I mean, if it is being pushed back, that's totally fine with me, but MAC needs to learn how to keep its customers informed. They crossed the line from building up anticipation to creating annoyance and frustration. I wasn't even that excited about this collection, and it still makes me mad

I did a live chat with mac and they said they had no confirmed date as of now and that they usually get that info a day or two prior, she asked me to check again with them soon in the event they have updated info. (don't know how much of that is true)      I also called my Mac Pro store at Southcoast (California) and the girl told me they aren't getting it and that it will definitely be online soon but not at any location with the exception of maybe the New York stores. 
Wow, Southcoast isn't getting it? That used to be my go to MAC store. I would expect them and Robertson to get them. I'm too tired to stay up for this one. I'll check it when I wake up.

I get what you're saying completely, but MAC technically never told us about this collection. It was in the employee update book and stuff in there is always subject to change. We just got lucky to hear of the collection and other collections because of the kind ladies that were able to share the info in that book, etc.

A MAC person made that point to me, especially when it's not a huge collection or collaboration you really don't see MAC promoting or talking about a collection until the day of because stuff is always changing. So even though I get upset too, I really can't get mad at MAC for making changes on something they never even told me about.

Hope that didn't come off bitchy.
I get what you mean though. It gets frustrating trying to prepare for the ever-changing unknown.

We just got lucky to hear of the collection and other collections because of the kind ladies that were able to share the info in that book, etc. A MAC person made that point to me, especially when it's not a huge collection or collaboration you really don't see MAC promoting or talking about a collection until the day of because stuff is always changing. LOL, Heavens no, that didn't come across bitchy at all. And I agree with everything you said. I think my frustrations have just reached a boiling point because of past similar issues when the collections had already been announced. MAC has a bit of a communication problem with its customers and even its own employees.

I don't think it's bitchy, it's reality. They haven't promoted it at all, so they don't owe us any kind of update. Maybe they talked to the company about doing it but along the way there were problems. It could be post-poned or scrapped altogether. Or maybe Nasty Gal didn't want any advance PR for some reason. They did get rid of their internal PR people recently. Maybe they were pissed and leaked incorrect info. It happens.

So agree! They definitely need to do a better job at updating their employees. A newbie to MAC might go bonkers having to deal with MAC's cs telling them different things about one thing.

MAC really is unbelievably bad informing their employees. However, I guess the main culprit in that is that they do have a lot of freelancers working behind the counter so you know they probably don't know everything.

Hi Ladies. I hope the collection is released tomorrow and everyone gets what they wanted. It means I get to see some Haul videos on youtube and swatches online lol

As for MAC not keeping everyone informed and every one on a dffernet page, it says alot about their image. The last couple of months I have pruchased very little from MAC because its always a different story. I do enjoy seeing the mac hauls though,,,any make up haul as a matter of fact hehehe
