I must have gotten an exceptional Pure Heroine and I'm very glad! It suits my coloring way better than most of MAC'S most similar lipsticks. Plus no patchiness and I didn't even have to wear a liner with it which is unusual for me when it comes to a creamy dark lipstick. I hate to hear that so many other people weren't pleased.

Mine applies and wear perfectly its just not the deep purple i hoped for. With Nightmoth and a lil Poe its perfect.

I loooove Playland. I just ordered a BU. NYX has a good dupe in their Wicked line.

Yeah, that promo image was definitely misleading! I think it worked in my favor just because I feel like the color it turned out to be suits me, but they never should have put out that promo pic!

Like you, my PH applies just fine too. I tend to want to lighten my PH. Lol

I love frosts. I could wear any liner underneath a frost lipstick, just to get that custom look. I would love to see a PROPER purple frost lipstick, that would be a dream come true. Reds, well VG3 has become my top red, ahead of New York Apple. I would buy another red lipstick, I'm actually waiting for RHPS to be released in the UK

Until then we have to create it.

Nyx wicked line has a better version, thank Playland itself lol . It is more opaque! 

I primarily use Playland as a layering lipstick so I like that bit of sheerness with that one, but I have been interested in quite a few of the Wicked lippies.

I'm glad it worked for you! I'm gonna try it with a liner and I'm hoping that helps some.

A lip liner helps it become less slippery on the lips.
