F***! I've been waiting for Gunner and a holiday pigment set to arrive. I thought my little black box would come this week. So i checked the tracking. Apparently the UPS person left it at my back door a week ago... except i have no back door. I live in the upper flat. My back door opens on a little deck with no stairs. My landlady moved at the beginning of the month and now I have new neighbors downstairs. If i remember right, their back door is on the other side of a chain link fence. I have no idea where the driver left the package. Plus it has been POURING here most of the past week, so if the package has been outside for a week who knows what condition it's in. (or maybe the wind blew it away... that happened to my Playland order, which i eventually found around the side in the bushes) I did get boxes from sephora and beautylish, but probably different drivers, so it seem things are not getting stolen off my porch. I will look all around the outside of the house tomorrow and if i don't see it i'll ask my downstairs neighbors if they found it. Boo!

Ugh! I hate that this happened to you! If you don't find it, MAC of course owes you a new one. Last month USPS delivered my friends large package of LE designer merchandise from H&M to a random apartment down the hall, instead of leaving the notice since she wasn't home. Needless to say...she NEVER received her package and the post office's excuse was that "lots of old people live in the building so the carrier didn't think they would steal it." Wtf?!! Long story short, since the items were long sold out, the mail carrier ended up giving her a certified check for the amount of the merchandise purchased.

just got my runner... Omg its beautiful. Like the perfect burgundy. I am in love also surprised how purple it reads on me! Topped it with a clear gloss. Goes on super smooth. Totally backup worthy.

The Saga of the Missing Little Black MAC Box

I knocked on my new downstairs neighbor's door last night, but she hadn't seen my little black box. I couldn't look for it outside last night because it was dark and raining.

So i went out searching this morning. I looked over the fence at the end of the driveway where her back door is, but i didn't see anything. So i walked around the other side of the house. I found the sad, soggy black box on the other side of a locked chain-link gate for which i have no key. Luckily i could stick my little hand through the links, grab the box (it took a few tries to reach it), and eventually work it up so i could get a good hold on it and bring it over the fence.

The box was so very saturated and water-logged, since it has been raining most of the week since it was delivered. I usually save my black boxes and use them for storage, but i just tore this one apart - it was so wet i didn't need any particular strength.

Fortunately the pigment & glitter set was in a little plastic bag, so relatively unscathed. The Gunner box was pretty wet, however, so i let it dry out for a while before i opened it - i keep my lipsticks in their boxes and i didn't want to destroy it. The lipstick tube was damp, so i wiped it off. Then with some trepidation i opened it. Whew, no moisture! Gunner was OK.

I understand that the UPS delivery person was concerned my package might be stolen. However i have gotten 3 other packages - Urban Decay, Beautylish, and sephora, all larger than that little MAC black box - left on my front porch on different days this month (yes, MAC, i have been unfaithful), not counting a couple large art books that came from Istanbul Turkey, and no one took them. I live in a sketchy neighborhood, have for over 12 years (during which time it has gotten a bit less sketchy), and so far none of my packages has ever been stolen, altho i know there's always the possibility of a first time. (not to mention that i have NO rear door!)

I am wearing Gunner now. It isn't as blue as it looks in some people's photos, but i am quite happy with it. It must have thought it was lost at sea for a week!

So sorry to hear about your friend, Miss Elle. It's ok to be reimbursed, but that's not the same as having limited edition stuff. I hope she finds something else wonderful.

Runner is pure love my second fave from this collection worn it today its pure love what liner is everybody using with runner

I'm regretting not purchasing it because I see how gorgeous it is on everyone else. Maybe I should just go on ahead and get it.

Thanks sweetie pie. Before all of the dissecting even my mother stated it looked black on me so I had to tone it down a bit. Plus I like that it's more of a purple on me. I have black lipstick already lol.

Riri Woo is beautiful but it leans pinker on me for some reason. Stunner is a True, true red. On me that is, hehe

I swatched them both sbs and they are dupes if I've ever seen one. Not that I mind because it's such a fabulous red.

Stunner isn't as bright as I thought and my undertones seem to make it a romantic red ( pink tones) than say a pinup red (neutral or blue tones)... How is Stunner wearing on u galz???

For me it's wearing almost identical to RiRi Woo.
