I think restrained is a nice color when you have a smokey eye. But like someone mentioned do not put too much of it. If someone has spectacle of yourself mega metal eyeshadow and deep fixation could you do comparison swatches? I am at my sisters place so i cannot do comparisons swatches. i hope it is different . i might actually get show all since a lot of you seem to like it but I do like subverted,thanks to Liba . I do have some regret regarding not picking any of the nude eyeshadows.
Subverted is fantastic - glad you like it! Show All is a little more subdued than Subverted, but I did wind up wearing it the other day and it's a good choice for a vampy lip that doesn't read too harsh or goth or nighttime-only. If I'd seen the collection in person before I bought, I probably would have passed on Show All, but now I'm not sorry I have it. If you have Hipster from a few years back, you could probably use that instead.
No pics, sorry - but I do have both the eyeshadows. Spectacle of Yourself is a redder-based brown than Deep Fixation, which has some subtle yellow undertones to it instead. DF is a little darker. I definitely am super happy to have both of them - probably the two best brown shadows I own, when I think about it….
Finally got the rest of my stuff today. This has been one of the best collections MAC has done in a minute. Pic on the left used the nude shadows and wholesome lipstick, stylish me. Pic on the right added brazenly to the crease and put on restrained lipstick
