MAC Nudes & Metallics Collection (April 2013) Pro Store Only

I am really kind of disgusted right now with MAC ... and I never thought I would. The collection is available, the collection is not, it will be up on this date, no it won't, the date is changed, the date is back on, it will be available online for pros on this date, no it won't. What is the deal? So now the only way to get anything from this collection right now is to call a Pro store out of state? This doesn't seem right. If you have a Pro card, ALL PROS should have the same access to the line (in store & online) at the same time. I am sure I am not the only one out there who feels slighted by not living in a state with a Pro store.

Thanks guys. I really needed to get that off of my chest. Sorry for the rant. I hope you understand my frustration.

Gotta go. Time to call MAC and let them know exactly what I think!

Totally understand and agree. As a longtime MAC fan, I have decided never to believe MAC customer service livechat or phone reps. They are very nice but wrong most of the time. I called a Pro store, ordered what I wanted, and had great customer service. I feel bad for the staff that got mixed messages from their superiors. It's not their fault. Hope you get what you wanted.

I think the same thing happened with the pro lip palettes as well. They weren't online until a month or so after the store release.

I have never smoked tobacco and am so glad all public and commercial spaces in my state are now smoke-free - smoke never did anything good for my asthma. However, i wear all black or mostly black way too often... the incredibly powerful fashion editor Diana Vreeland advocated wearing all or mostly black. I've never subscribed to that, but i find i'm wearing black a lot these days. But bring on The Cure and the Ramones! I find i'm more nostalgic for 80s bands than for the bands of my teenage-hood or young adulthood in the 60s and 70s.

I wouldn't count on it. I first called the Chicago Pro store. They were out of half of the metallic eye shadows I wanted. So I decided to try the Orlando store. They were really very nice there. They had everything available that I wanted. They sounded really busy there.

What do you plan on getting from this collection? I ended up getting Crimson Tryst, Love's Lure, Brazenly, Body Conscious, Show-All and Pre-Raphaelite. I may call back and get Deep Fixation.

I just called and placed an order at the Orlando store too. They were very nice to me too (I called that store because you said they were nice haha. I was going to call the NY store originally) and they still sounded super busy. I ordered Brazenly and Crimson Tryst.

Mac is frustrating me so much lately that I wish I could just boycott them! (But not really!) =) I'm still waiting for the Extra Dimension skinfinishes to be out on their site.....NOTHING! and Now this? No Nudes and Metallics online? Ugh.... I know I can order from a store, but I shouldn't have to if it should be up online. So I'm telling myself, that if I can not buy what I want online (no MAC close to me) that I am skipping it, my life will continue to go on, and I will be a little richer for it! (In the back of my mind though, nagging, nagging, "call" "order"..) lol... What also really annoys me is that there is no one to call and complain to! I don't think MAC gives a damn that they are totally annoying us for their attitudes lately. I feel like we should be apologized to, for all the confusion lately... Haha.... Sorry guys, just had to get my rant out!

Same here! I'm going in a few mins. I really want to find the perfect nude for my pigmented lips without looking ashy. I hope I can find that in this collection.

I called the Pro store in Las Vegas and they were very nice and busy but still nice ^_^ I was only going to get 2 eyeshadows but they said shipping orders must be at least 3 items so I ended up getting Brazenly, Crimson Tryst and Pre-Raphaelite lipstick (which she said was like New York apple but deeper and more plum I think) So can't wait.

Hi there. I totally understand your feelings. You probably read my post a little while ago. I called the Orlando store and placed my order with them. They were so nice and funny. It was like talking with a girlfriend. They made my irritation go away completely. I actually just talked to them a minute ago. I had called back a second time to add to my original order. They called me back just to go over the order before it was sent out. They were so very nice. They are all in L-O-V-E with this collection. They really helped me pick out my back-up choices by their honest-engine opinions (asking me what tone I am, etc.).

Call them in Orlando and place your order. You will be kicking yourself later if you don't.

I ended up backing up Crimson Tryst and Show-All lipstick. They tell me there is nothing like either of them. I also ended up order Deep Fixation to complete the metallic eye shadow collection. I forgot to mention in my earlier post that I also have the darker blush. I heard it's lovely.

Let us know if you end up calling the Orlando store and placing your order. They will make you laugh, I promise!!!

It's pretty normal that Pro collection do neither release early nor on time. As I stated before, most likely, they are going to be late online. Nothing to worry about. Just regular MAC business.

I was almost posting in tears right now because I called the pro store earlier and they told me to call back. Now I am told they only got 3 Brazenly es and it is sold out. The SA was very sweet and spoke to her mgr and arranged for a pro store in Milleneum Mall to ship it to me. Rebecca was super dedicated and thorough. She waived S&H at her store, Mac Pro at Lincoln Rd on my order there so I wouldn't be charged the $7 fee twice. I got to order everything I wanted, all the metallics including LL x 2 . I wasn't so sure about the brown one but I added it and threw in Body Conscious (hope I like it)

Drove all the way out to South Coast Plaza in Costa Mesa, got everything on my list! Just got home about 5 minutes ago and will post pics soon. (714) 751-2142 is their number ad they had everything (tons of it as of 10 am this morning). The CS told me that they do not authorize pre-sale or holds at this store so they "hopefully" will have enough to get through their big launch event this weekend.
