I'm loving Dominate, and am thinking I might want to get Pre-Raphaelite & now Subverted (thanks to Liba!). On the other hand, I'm not feeling Restrained. Nudes are so tricky for me and I probably shouldn't have ordered without swatching first. I think Wholesome might have worked better because there seems to be more pink in it. Would anyone know if Wholesome is similar to Twig, maybe a lighter version of it?
I'm NC 42/45 and i got all of the nude shadows. I tried them all on together and didn't find them to be too special. I really liked them- they go on smoothly, but I'm really tan right now and they hardly show up on my eyelid. A few of them even matched my skin tone.

I used my naked palette today instead of them and i'm enjoying those colors more.

I got Subverted yesterday. I'm with you liba - that is one gorgeous lipstick! I love that type of color and therefore I had quite a few glosses/lipstick that I would be dupes but I couldn't find one in the bunch. It's stunning. Now of course I'm debating Dominate. I have a ton of dark purples so that means I probably don't need this one but really want it. Lol. Is it really unique in the sea of dark purples?

Happy I didn't buy the nude shadows now but I'm ordering a backup of Show-All and adding Subverted to my collection.

Finally got our first sell-out of the collection. Exposed is now SOLD OUT. I have to admit I'm surprised the first sell-out is a nude eyeshadow. I'm so glad these products are hanging around after we all waited so long for them to show up. It's giving everyone a nice amount of time to make an educated decision on what to order. THIS is how a LE collection is supposed to be. Limited Time rather than Limited Stock! Although I think this amazing collection just slipped through the cracks, so it probably isn't an improvement in MAC's LE launches overall. ALTHOUGH, nothing has sold out from TT either (except the repromoted Heroine l/l) so MAYBE, just MAYBE MAC is turning over a new leaf! Fingers Crossed!

I'm actually surprised much of TT is still there. Last I looked Narscisus was still available and I was shocked by that. I'd like to hope MAC, got their act together. I just don't believe it.

It be a dream come true if MAC operated like NARS.

Me too....I would have thought that one of the metallic items would sell out
first!

Midnight Mambo from TT shows as sold out too...but it is indeed a bit surprising that none of the MSFs is sold out yet.
Here in Germany they usually sell out suuuuper fast

I thought Stylish Me (Far Right) blush was a similar to Raizin (middle) but as you can see it isn't. So I pulled out my Sweet As Cocoa (Far Left) and as you can see it's very similar to stylish me but swatches more brown on me. I used Stylish me this morning and it's gorgeous. Very pigmented so use a light hand. Also, makes a lot of dust when you rub your brush across the product.

can we please get a comparison swatch pretty please

I think it's in my top best MAC lipsticks of the year, so far.

I think there are a few things about Dominate that make it great, even if you have other dark purples:

1) The frost finish is beautiful. It accentuates every curve in your lips, but it isn't brassy or robot-metallic looking. It's highly flattering. Most other purples are either much glossier or much more matte, and neither of those types of finishes are as enhancing as the finish here. It's pretty tricky to find dark lipsticks that still can make your lips look fuller and more shapely at the same time, so it's kind of a big deal.

2) It's so pigmented. You can blot it down and barely change the color or the finish. It's not patchy either when applying it or blotting it down. You don't always see this in dark purples. 'Makes for great staying power, too.

3) The texture on the lips feels super light and comfortable. Again, not something you see every day with dark purples.

I'm NC45/50 and I'm currently wearing Glimpse of Flesh as my browbone highlight. It's soft and subtle and also works for me as a lid color for a neutral work look. I have Body Conscious also and I love it for a transition color and for a soft crease contour with a light lid color.

Aah, ok I better get the rest of the nudes before they sell out, I kept wavering...and Wholesome. The metallics lipsticks look so dark, any reccs. for a nw15? I'm not necessarily shy when it comes to color, but they all see so super dark, not sure what might work, and I can't see them in person.

I was worried about the dark lippies too, and I'm NW20. I went for Show All in the end :)

You all have tempted me. I jumped the gun and ordered some of the eyeshadows.

I picked up Brazenly, Deep Fixation, Glimpse of Flesh, and Body Conscious. Hope I made the right decision.

I just ordered Crimson Tryst and Deep Fixation. I hope they aren't too warm for my NW15 skin? My Pre-Raphaelite is on it's way today. I'm excited to try it out. It seems this collection is geared more towards warmer skin tones. Which is fine but, some colors I can't pull off even though I think they are SO beautiful. Makes me wish I had a neutral skin! LOL!!

Are they pretty similar in terms of texture, finish and blendability? I was hoping to skip Stylish Me. TY for posting the comparison pics.

I'm kinda bummed that there is barely any swatches out there for Subverted. I've been kinda lusting for it but, not sure it would look good on me. Maybe if this collection launched in the fall, I'd see WAY more swatches of everything. It's a weird launch. Especially in Summer, when everyone is wearing more bright colors.

Hmmm...If you own Small Vanity, how would you compare those two? They look pretty similar to me? Beautiful blush though.
