No, my lids aren't oily. I tried again this morning, using a fluffier brush instead of the 239. Seemed to help a little. Looks more peachy than orange. Weird.
its the same for me. i'm debating keeping the colors because 3/4 of them look orange on me.

Really don't know what to tell you. I haven't had this issue on myself or any clients I've used them on. I've been using my OCC brushes more often than MAC or other brands but I have applied with MAC brushes also with no issue.

Sorry you're going through this, too, but glad it's not just me! I'm NC-35, Chanel Vitalumiere 40 beige, so I thought the colors would be good on my skin tone. I love nude lippies, too, and 3/4 of the nudes make me look like I have the plague! So bizarre and disappointing.

I skipped this collection. Wondering if I shouldn't have though! The mettalic eyeshadows look great.

occ brushes?
Obsessive Compulsive Cosmetics brush line. I think there are only 12 brushes in the lineup right now (although the #12 doesn't show on OCC's website. It's different size of their #4 Tapered Blending Brush. Here is a pic of the ones I have (excluding the full sized lip brushes that came with the Pro's Picks lip tar sets)

Not the best pic (especially as far as the Angled Blending Brush goes). Sadly, OCC does a terrible job at showcasing their brushes also. The pics on their website are terrible.

ok so after about a month of holding on to all 8 of the eyeshadows... i decided to return them all except for brazenly and crimson tryst. Those two are unlike anything else i have and i really felt like the nude shadows were really orange on me. I'm sad, but i think they would have sat in my drawer unused and my credit card would have been $90 higher. eek! i hope i dont regret it later on.

The quality is excellent. I'm truly surprised by how much I love these brushes. I wish they would expand their line. I'm excited that Wayne Goss will be releasing his brush line soon....I'm a bit of a brush whore too lol
I wish I could be more of a brush whore, lol. I really just can't justify it because I'm not a professional. I would someday like to buy some nice brushes.

I'm not one either, and probably don't need half the stuff I buy. but it doesn't stop me. i do need to spend more time learning the best way to apply makeup though.

Wholesome lippie......I apologize for the blurry camera phone photo but you get the idea of what it looks like on NC45.
Omg very pretty. Thats the type of nude color ive been looking for but i hate amplified finish from mac. Always sliding around my lips lol
