I love this too! I was using Blot Powder but it's not mattifying enough for me during the summer months. I tried P&P transparent finishing powder yesterday and I didn't need to apply powder again until evening. I did blot once at work but that's nothing for me. I usually need to blot and/or apply more powder by the time I get to the office (perhaps 90 minutes after my makeup goes on). LOVE this product. I'm also using the mineralized concealer but I think I need a different option for days when my dark circles really are bad. I like the concealer for an everyday light use but something with more staying power would be great. I like the natural dewy finish of this one though and am not keen to switch to something cakier.
Have you tried the prolong wear concealer- good coverage and nice consistency

I haven't no, but I'll check it out. Thanks. :)

I love the wear of the Pro Longwear foundation, but I find it a bit heavy. I'm going to try cutting it with a bit of mixing medium to see if I like that better.

I used Face & Body for that.

F&B mixing medium? What is this? How is it used?
f&b is a pro product. is a liquid that you can use other products to help transform them into something else for example pigments it can be mixed with a pigment to turn it into a liquid for body pairing. and it will take on the characteristic of being water resistant and transfer resistant. you can use this as well for you shadows. mixing it with foundations to help sheer them down or make them a bit more water resistant. we utilize it more for artistic purposes

Well, i have had it with cheap make-up, but i dont want to spend alot of $$ and not like it, can you return make-up ? I have oily skin and tend to see that only after an hr of applying my make-up i look super oily ! I switched to the organic mineral wear, but first i apply the Cover Girl Clean foundation. I dont really know how to do makeup, but want to learn, exspecially my eyes. What is a good $$ for MAC thats not gonna break the bank.

for the face area i would recommend water based more than face and body for using around the eye area. it is ok to use around the area but to be safe i would used water based mixing medium and for the body i prefer alcohol mixing medium to be honest

Thank you again paparazziboy!

I love the water base mixing medium and use it a lot.

But I think that face and body mixed with pigments will create a lovely (cream) blush or not?
To be honest I looove to play with mixing mediums and I have water base, eye liner and shine already.
And now I really want to have face and body too!

How are you liking the shine mixing medium? I have been interested in that one and the matte for a while, but i'm not sure what they can be used for. I would like the matte mixing medium for my matte pigments, so they would be more vibrant on my eyelid. Paparazziboy do you know if the matte mixing medium would work for that?

But I have not used it on my lids yet....only on my cheeks and lips mixed with pigments.

I am also still interested in the matte and might get it together with face and body when I place my next pro order.

they are all gonna give you the same effect to be honest the only difference is that one is water resistant and the other is better for body art and can't be used on the face (alcohol)

I picked up samples today (NW20 and NW25). I seem to be between the shades; I'd probably need to blend the two.

Does anyone know why NC foundations switch to NW for concealer? I'm currently wearing the mineralized product in NW25 so this isn't the first MUA to recommend the switch.

Everyone should wear NW under eyes, but if you are NC, then NC on other parts of your face.
