MAC Perfectly Finished Discussion

I want to try both the concealer and foundation. I had read that the foundation had gotten good reviews when first released but people didn't like the packaging so I am curious to try it now. Does anybody now what the foundation finish is like?

I've tried the loose mineral foundation and to me it was pretty similar to other loose mineral foundations (Bare Escentuals), or at least I couldn't tell much of a difference other than MAC's seemed a bit sheerer in coverage (could have been because of the original packaging, not a lot of powder came out at once for me). I liked buffing it on with a kabuki brush after tinted moisturizer and a spritz of Fix+ on top to take away the powdery look. The old "cap-licator" wasn't very useful to me, which is why the packaging is being changed I guess. Plus I got kinda grossed out at the thought of not being able to wash it properly after applying the foundation to my face and then putting it back into the container. Overall, this is a nice foundation but it didn't really wow me (I prefer MAC's mineralized skinfinish natural as it's portable).

I am interested in the concealer since I'm too heavy handed with more solid concealers and end up looking cakey.

i like the loose mineralize a lot...i thought it gave a very natural finish on my skin. i wasn't impressed by the sponge cap either. when i first bought it, the ma told me they were coming out with replacement sponges, which was the reason i agreed to buy the foundation....and then they never did! i found it a bit awkard to try and use a kabuki with it now that a large portion of the powder is gone...once in a while i still reach for it though!
i'm looking forward to the concealer...i like the mineralize skin products a lot!

I wondering how the concealer compares to the moisturecover one. I've never tried moisturecover but I was thinking about it since my skin has been so damn try in the last month.

I only wish the concealer won't have Moisturecover's coverage, it was too sheer for me, Ohhh how I hate dark circles.
