MAC Playful eyeshadow

I find it a bit chalky not satiny at all. Did I just get a bad batch?

Hmm mine was tyical Satin texture. I just hated the color haha

Umm maybe you did get a bad one?! I've never heard it described as chunky, mine isn't chunky, and the ones we have at the counter aren't chunky either. :-/

no, mine is the exact same way, kinda chalky and "dry" (if that makes any sense). . . I think it's just the way it comes. or maybe we both got ones from the same bad batch! lol

I have a chalky Playful too....hmm this brings up the bad time I had with Pink Papillon from Madame B. :s

I find my Playful is a bit hard to work with as well. Like you said, it is kind of chalky when trying to apply.

I think they are all chalky. I got three and all three of mine are pretty dusty/chalky textured. It seems to go on like a veluxe (not Veluxe pearl) or a matte to me. It gives pretty decent color payoff, but other satins seem to go on smoother.
