OK, I have avoided most gold frost lipsticks because they weren't yellow and opaque enough! Playland is GORGEOUS!!

Meanwhile, I've worn LL so much over the years! I've only got half a tube left and it's sort of in the rationing zone now. Again, because of my coloring (very red lips and more sallow skin), it looks like an awesome nude with gold and pink highlights, rather than some off the wall green. The green actually neutralizes my coloring well.

I can't wear all golds and yellows, but when they're the right ones, they are amazing. My favorite is probably Baking Beauty mineralize lip balm. It's so yellow, but it's just the right shade and opacity. It perfects all my nude lipsticks that are a touch too brown and all my pink lipsticks that are too pink and it's warm and rich looking by itself with my natural lip color.

The best advice, as always, is to TRY before you BUY and if you can only buy online and are feeling very iffy about it, just skip it and wait for something you're more certain about (or buy it and pass it along to someone who will use it if you want to take the chance when you're not certain - but that's more of an expense and a hassle, if you want to be realistic).

Hey, that's the one I have in my purse atm. I rarely wear MLBs over lippies, but I must try these combos.

Now that is gold!!! I think this could be a really cool color. I hope it's really that opaque and metallic. The blue and gold however, I am not loving. I think it makes her look like she has hypothermia.

Speaking from my own experience with Liquid Lurex l/s, which is another out there color, that is a really good question. I have worn LL twice. Are you very into layering? It's probably great for layering.

I am not into layering, I almost never do it! I do like weird colors thoug and so does my bf. I never know where to wear the weird colors though and he's always like hey wear that blue lipstick (Peacocky)

Ladies, do NOT buy the products because of their name. That might make them charming enough to acquire, but I doubt that it will cause you to wear them once they're in your stash. Most of us already have too much stuff that we're not wearing. I'm skipping this one because there's nothing here I'd wear. Cute theme, but that doesn't mean I'd look good with yellow lips.

I agree. I have to say I love the names of the lippies but I'll probably end up skipping them all. I'm kinda interested in Toying Around and Hearts in The Clouds but I def need swatches because I don't think they're 100% ''me''. How about restraint eh? She said after buying yet another Inglot palette..

My BF isn't into lipstick (I put on Punk Couture and he said I looked like a goth lol). I still wore it out though because I loved it!

Yea I definitely found the right guy for me, he loves crazy dramatic makeup when I do it. Bright neon eyeshadow and/or l/s, winged liner, cut creases, etc. I instagrammed a pic of that Melt Cosmetics forest green lippie that's coming out and he was like "you're getting that right?" haha

its soooo pretty. i wear the hell out of pink so i know i will grab the pinks. they will get used. And i dated a guy once like that. It was when Parrot was new and Lust lipstick was out he was like oh wear all those blue shadows, or mix them with yellow and gold. I am single, but im only going to date a guy who encourages my artistic nature!!! I know there has to be one left somewhere for me! Nothing worse than a guy who trys to tell u ur wearing too much makeup and try to control u ugh!! Im single after being traumatized

I'm so excited for this collection. I was praying they would bring Quite Cute back but no such luck. Very excited for the lilac colored lipglass though. I love anything pastel purple. :eyelove:
