MAC Playland Collection - April 7, 2014

I AM PUMPED for this collection, im expecting very bright and fun colors and hopefully they will have some cute packaging

I'm at work & even though it's 25 degrees & snowing that sounds awesome right now! Working in healthcare makes your mouth so dryyyyyy! Plus I like any drink that's blue lol I'm always like "Can I get the blue flavored one!" Lmao

im always so thirsty omg i would die. its the air vent system probably and u cant carry a drink around?? and yes i will have the blue one haha

Yes I keep a cup of water on my cart at all times but working in a nursing home is the worst, the scents & sights make you want to cry. I hate working behind nasty people that don't have any compassion or love for my patients & it's just a paycheck to them. They never take care of them so it's always me doing more than I'm supposed to. Hospitals & better facilities have vents & air circulation. I'll be so glad once I graduate and I'm an RN. But for now my calling is to help out here.

yeah i have a friend who did that for a while. it is sad some ppl dont have patients for the elderly or disabled im sure it can be trying but it is good there are some ppl like u working there to make there day a lil better

I got to dish about update today with my buddy and he was a little "been there, done that" about this collection (he's not always a brights and neons type, though). He did loooooooove Playland lipstick, though. It's totally opaque and moist looking - one of the "good" frosts and very very yellow gold.

He tried putting Hi-def Cyan all over the lip and Playland on top and got a groovy green shade out of it.

He also used a touch of the yellow gloss on top, but he was less interested in it. It's not super opaque. We were all wishing the glosses in this collection would have been Plushglass instead.

Lustreglass is highshine and has the pearlized quality to it. I have one, Flashmode, and it is very lovely and shiny and sparkly, but sheer.

Plushglass has Vitamin E and the plumping component(s).

When I first started trying MAC's perm glosses, I had no idea what Plushglass was and bought one. Luckily I read online what they were shortly afterwards before I even tried it and returned it. I'm too sensitive to even try anything like that. I wasn't going to risk an allergic reaction. I think that was the only time I ever returned anything that wasn't defective.

I think with this collection it's just going to be about the lip glasses and casual colors for me. I really have more than enough of bright colored lipsticks, though I do love the amplified finish.

Personally, I love Plushglass. The tingle just feels really minty to me and the formula is really smooth and makes your lips look super full. I treasure the ones I've got and majorly ration them when I start running low in the tube.

I agree the Plushglass is my personal fave as well!!! I had one called cushy white and i loved it i almost cried when it was gone. And my bubble tea is almost gone sad day!! I cant remember the last time they put out plushglass. was it quite cute??
