MAC Playland Collection - April 7, 2014

I woke up at 5am to go pee (lmao) and ordered For Your Amusement from my phone. I almost got Red Balloon, but the picture they had on there looked nothing like the swatches we've seen and I was half asleep so I said screw it

I'm gonna be happy with just that one thing, especially since there's so much other stuff coming out in the weeks to come that I don't want to miss out on! I have a way-too-big list for Proenza, Alluring Aquatic, and the Osbourne collections.

I just put in a second Nordies order of the day for several of the new "perm" (?) shades ... ugh, goodbye wallet. But they are in a little collection called "Cult Favorites" so idk if they are actually perm.

Snagged the lipsticks and lipglasses. I'll hold off on the CC's until I can play with them in store. The cyan and yellow piggies and the orange and blue eyeliners seem to be stalking my cart though......

Squeeeeeee! Ordered Toying Around and Playland. Might snag Happy-Go-Lucky in person if it's in stock as i need to try pink in person to tell if it's flattering or not. Always love vibrant corals and sheer golds! Hoping Toying Around can be a replacement for Ablaze and it's horrible texture. Living on the edge with Playland, as Christine Temptalia gave it a D. If it's not for me, I can always swap or return. Huzzah Nordstrom!

I feel like the hype has left MAC collections in general, at least that's what I've been noticing. I think that because there were so many big name collections like Riri, the Archie collection and etc. that we all got used to frantic shopping where things would vanish in seconds. Tbh I never expected this collection to sell out fast. I think if you were looking at MAC and knew what was coming you were probably hyped (if this was your flavor), but unlike other collections we didn't have everybody and their 3rd mama twice removed trying to snatch up stuff to put on eBay or add to their memorabilia collection. I'm not saying stuff will be there forever, lol, but I honestly feel like things will last a week on Nordstrom without selling out. Also Nordies is love. Love is Nordies. So simple, no evil nefarious plans that MAC always seems to expect from us. Just, "Hi, when is this collection google up?" "Oh the 14th at Midnight PST" "Awesome, thanks!"...and scene. So simple. So non-heart breaking.

Yay I ordered toying around x2 and happy to lucky! I really want sweet experience , but milky pinks are tricky with my skin tone. (I'm also pretty yellow lol) I'll have to head to mac on Thursday, to decide in person. & hopefully they let me b2m for it. :sigh:

Yah. I was thinking the same thing. Ordering from Nordies is easier and if i don't like something, I can return it to the store. And they always have free shipping.

When I order from Nordies on a Monday, my package usually ships on Tuesday, and I get it by Thursday.

I love Nordies free shipping y returned pluss samples and just 3 o 4 days for get it in home, on mac is one week for California.:/
