Red Ballon looks a little like Something New to me. Which was the best MAC lipstick I ever had formulawise, but I never wear those kind of colours so I sold it.

Red balloon is so pretty! I have moxie and Ive only worn it once.. I think Ill get more use out of it in the spring months anyways.
Ive been kinda into red lately. Ive been trying to finish my vivaglam cyndi lipstick so Ive been wearing it to work lately and it made me kinda love how red looks on me.

really!? I had skippers remorse not getting port red lipstick.. I tried to hunt it down a few times but Im not willing to pay crazy ebay prices for it

I have Something New and I think it looks very similar to RB too!

I love Something New! Gotta take out those Amplifieds since Mattes overpowered them on my stash last 2013.

I'm still going to check out Head in the Clouds. I didn't think Viva Glam Riri had enough shimmer. I liked the gloss a whole lot more than the lipstick.

I was just looking at the models from Vivienne Westwoods Red Label show and it just reaffirms my feelings about how gorgeous red lips are.

My SA told me that the yellow pigment is less yellow then golden yellow but much yellow-er than Lily White. Looking forward to swatches.

Oh I'm really liking red balloon it looks like a pretty pink! Head in the clouds is also very pretty, but after VG riri, I'm set with these frosty reds. The name is just so cute :sigh:

Somewhat OT I decided to try out that blue lipglass from the Fabulous Felines collection with cork liner all over underneath. I cannot seem to keep lipglass on my lips! It seems to slide right off and takes the lip liner with it. Does any one have any suggestions for getting lipglass to last beyond 10 minutes? I'm not talking about eating and drinking or anything like that..

sounds like you're over applying. that particular lipglass was really sheer - if you wanted the blue to come out really clearly, you'd probably have to stick with a very pale pencil shade underneath. You can try a light layer of it, let it get a little tacky, then do a second light layer - that works fine with lipglass for staying power.

Thank you! I probably am over applying. What would you use to avoid besmirching the lipgloss with brown liner, what kind of disposable applicators? I don't want to muddy it
