MAC Playland Collection - April 7, 2014

I think I'm definitely skipping casual colors. I just got Virgin Isle and Madly Magenta ccbs. I wish these April collections are more spread out. Excited for them already.

I asked my MA if she liked Playland and she said, "It is very colorful." She's more of a nude/neutral type. I don't think much will appeal to me either which is good since my low buy hasn't been going well.

I did buy Fougy, and it is a stunning colour and I am very glad it is permanent. I wore it out once, but it didn't seem to stay vibrant for long- I need to give it a second chance because it was breathtaking in the tube. I just didn't find it as long lasting as Exaltee for example (I'm guessing you have this one too lol?!) Thanks for reminding me of it!!

Will do! I was hoping it would arrive on Friday, but no such luck. I have no idea what I will end up with from Playland, but I need to have a serious game plan and maintain control---LOL! Don't want to end up with 7 red balloons or something crazy! Likely I will buy 1 of what I want online with overnight shipping. That will give me a couple of days to try them and decide if I need backups of any of them. Luckily I have Thursdays off this semester so I can easily go early and get my hands on what I want, if I do decide on any backups.
You are in Australia, correct? Is Playland launching there at the same time?

Man, I don't know if I need to get another hot pink lipstick. I have: Pink Pigeonx3, Candy Yum Yum, Silly, Show Orchid, Outrageously Fun (which I lost), Flat Out Fabulous, Daddy's Little Girl, Girl About Town, Moxie just right off the top of my head. I really don't need it but I want it.

My friend said it's much more wearable then the normal bright colored hot pink lol

How do you pre-pay? Is it through MAC or Nordies, Macy's?

No problem!i hadn't seen him in awhile so he was going through the book telling me about the collections. For me personally, he didn't sound too thrilled about the lighter pink color. He told me I could just put it on hold and try it in store. So I'll have to see! That was the only one I'm interested in

I hope you like SN! I think I will get 2 of each lippie minus Playland. As long as you can back up later, you're safe.

Yes, I am in Australia- collections come out later here- no FOF here yet (I have a feeling it will be on counter tomorrow) - I buy from Nordstrom and use a forwarding service to get it to me - MAC likes to charge us about twice the price here just for funsies lol. So unless I want to pay twice the price, I try to snag them from Nordies ASAP and tend to go back up crazy as it's actually 2 for 1!

Now that is dedication! Good for you for figuring out how to get it from Nordstrom! I would totally do the same--and no wonder you get your BU's right away! Wow. I may just buy my BU's right away if we get swatches and I am pretty certain what I want. But it launches in store here a week after launching online, and I am literally 10 minutes drive away from at least 2 Mac counters, so it is pretty easy to go. If you ever need something, I can always send it to you (not sure if shipping is outrageous, but it's an option)!

It is totally crazy how much you have to pay in Australia for Mac! Just for funsies indeed!

Did you take a look at that new Mac Mineralize Glass lipstick in Good Taste? Another fuschia to add to the collection! Haha! Some bloggers have been raving about this one in particular, so I ordered it. Am thinking that it will be a fuschia filled spring and summer!

I go to Nordstroms and fill out the pre order and buy gift cards for the amount total so when they open that morning they fill your pre order with the gift cards. i still go in when they open to make sure i get my items but that way i dont have to stress about having the cash then
