I don't know what happened, but you don't have to leave the forums LauraLara. We're a bunch of really great people here.

It's more of a true yellow, especially with the gloss.

She's definitely wearing a TON of gloss and probably pigment too in this photo. On it's own, Playland is more of a standard sheer-ish frost!

I'd be very cautious about the CCs too this time around. I only saw the pale pink one and the feel of it is different than the original batch - it worked better now on the cheeks and didn't stay greasy, but it was a real mess on the lips. The original ones were much better on the lips, I thought, even though they didn't dry down that well on the cheeks. Procede with caution.
Yes!!! I'm getting the CCs for the purpose of using them as creme blushers, not so much as lip products and this is exactly what I want to hear!

Thanks Liba! :*

Is that all you do is take pics that people already posted on here, repost them and act like they are yours?

Because I HIGHLY, HIGHLY doubt that any of my fellow MAClovers here have bought and paid for a pattern number, secured an attorney to actively protect and ensure no "infringement occurs' and ACTUALLY hold a copyright, then you CANNOT STEAL any photo on this website. ERGO, you NEED not give CREDIT. ESPECIALLY of products made by MAC (not yourselves).

I have finally commented because quite frankly, some of you accusing another of "not giving credit/stealing" are simply vicious. I think you should ask the poster "where did you find the picture (or similar)" rather than 'attack'.

While "giving credit" may be polite, it certainly is not required and for damn sure is NOT LEGAL.

From: an ATTORNEY-AT-LAW. (so perhaps I know a little something about infringement)

Now: YIPPIE for this collection: I will be broke :)

We're not talking legalities here, we're talking about being polite and courteous to people who have spent the time to search for photos and/or who took the time to scan in photos from mags or who organized pics with names.

I'd say the majority of members here are very fun and welcoming, so I find it quite rude that your first post is to tell members what to do and call them vicious.

I totally agree with this post. Be courteous and polite, give credit when someone else took their time to find info/pics.

Not everything "legal" is "moral" or fair. Plus, only the recidivists get called out. People like Miss Dynamite are entitled to express their opinion about other people using pictures that clearly were lifted from specktra members posts. I'm sure you would understand that if someone repeatedly uses your intellectual property without permission you would not just remain silent, even though you claim it's "legal".

1. I have read several posts in this thread and someone flat out said "illegal"
2. You perceive my message as "rude" because it was the first I have posted?? If so, then would it be more palatable if I post more?
3. I FINALLY posted the message because as I said, it is a pervading 'idea' I have noted after reading posts on this website for months on end
4. I certainly do not want to offend, but the truth of my post stands.

This post simply validates mine. NO-ONE here has "intellectual PROPERTY" . Property is a thing bought and paid for-- NO ONE has bought and paid for COPYRIGHT (that would be a picture of MAC's product or the swatch) on here.

Only Sweet Experience lipstick for me I think! I don't like cream cheek products, so no Casual Colours for me. I was drawn to Happy Go Lucky but as it's been compared to Candy Yum Yum (which I have) and prefer matte to amplified, eh.. I prefer lipglasses in softer colours and no way can I pull of yellow lipstick :eek:hboy: I hope Sweet Experience lives up to my expectations!!

LOL NO it doesn't. What kind of law school did you go to? "Property rights" doesn't only include things that can be bought or has monetary value. Under the constitution, for example, when they talk about right to life, liberty and property, "property rights" include employment which is intangible and not a thing that is bought.

You've been rude long enough. People here are warm and welcoming but we certainly could use less toxic posters here.

I won't be surprised if you ARE trendmoon using a different account name.

Please spare this forum any further of your drama. And if you really are an attorney this collection will not make you "broke"

Wouldn't it bother you though, if someone used YOUR pictures and failed to ask/credit you properly? Regardless of legalities. What if it was a photo of your dog or child?? You would be peeved. Don't lie. Let's keep this cool and move on. Thanks for joining Specktra officially!

I will certainly do as deadsavvy said and "move on". But for the poster below: The JD behind my name, the 6 fig salary and the very real, near deathly 3 years of law school pretty much solidifies I am as I said-- an Anttorney.

PS. You are somewhat correct on "property rights" That however Iis NOT "Intellectual property". I am still RIGHT.

You have no idea how people like you (laymen), keep people like me (attorneys) employed :)

Now: which of items do you think you will purchase from Playland?

I think the fact that most of us are annoyed by is that there are bloggers, Instagrammers, etc who just lurk here and wait for info & pictures to be posted only to repost them to promote their blog, IG, whatever social site. Which might not be wrong or illegal, it's simply annoying.

There's no need to argue about legal matters here, no matter how knowledgeable you are or not.
