MAC Playland Collection - April 7, 2014

The yellow looks interesting. But, I don't think I could pull off a yellow lip and its a frost. I just was looking at pictures of people with yellow lipstick and 99% of them did not pull it off to me. So this collection. Is also a pass for me.

If I can only get one thing from this collection, it would be "Toying Around." As for lipstick #2, it'll either be "Red Balloon" or "Sweet Experience." I also thought "Sweet Experience" was a warmer pink from the paper swatch but in Karly's swatches it looks like it might be a bit off on me. Who knows! But yeah, I'll be pretty disappointed if I miss out on "Toying Around."

Oooh! Pretty, happy colours. I feel like I have dupes for some of them, but I'll definitely check them out in person, because I love me some bright lips in the summer. I have to admit I'm tempted by Playland, although it would be tricky for me to pull off. It's the sort of colour I love having around just in case I feel like it. I have Illamasqua Shoot lip gloss, which is a bright grass green. I don't wear it often, but I like to pull it out from time to time.

The one that really catches my eye, though, is Live it Up lip gloss. Beautiful orange creamsicle shade.

I kinda was expecting more from these lippies.but these colors look so dupeable it's ridiculous! I may get one lippie but now I'm interested I'm those lip glasses

Omg I want them all!!! thanks for the swatches. I don't really own AC finish cuz I'm a matte and satin whore. But do any of you ladies recommend AC? Is it really pigmented?

I love Amplifieds. Moist/creamy and nice and pigmented. Perfect if you like rich colors.
