MAC Playland Collection - April 7, 2014

I still havent caught up on all the PLW liners i only have Fashion Boost since it was LE. I want Dynamo and Shock Value soooooo bad!!!!!! And all the PLW lipliners. Also still do not have Magenta. Need to buy them all damn it

Shock Value is everything. Love it.

I've looked at those at my local Sephora ever since they came out. In fact I looked at them today. I just can't pick a color that I need. I want to try their product to see if it's as good as Mac, but I can't justify it if the colors are the same, you know? That's the problem when you've been buying for years. They have blue but I'll never use that and the black I don't need. I have a black lipstick by Melt cosmetics that's so awesome I don't even need liner for it. Ugh.

Poolboy liner is just slightly lighter than Hi Definitely Cyan. All the OCC liners are similar to MAC liners. Such a shame

Can that yellow pigment really be different enough from rock it yellow or primary yellow to justify the purchase? I want it but it looks like plain old yellow. It would be great if it had a duo chrome effect or had some shimmer particles of a different color.

RIY is a neon matte, and PY is a primary matte yellow, and this is shimmery and a softer yellow, so yeah, it's definitely different.

That's what I thought when I swatched them all. What a shame. Can't justify buying any of them.

I might get the clear cuz i don't have a clear one yet, but i was excited to them when they launched, but then i saw the swatches and realized i already had em in mac form.

I thought if anything I'd get that Dahlia color. I expected it to be more than what it was. Deeper, I guess. I like the idea of a clear liner, but I know I'm not gonna use that thing.

Swatches yay!!!! Just Toying Around and Happy Go Lucky for me. I've just really been waiting for some brights that aren't mattes. So I'm pretty excited!

yeah they are amazing one of my fave mac products. I dont know how i havent gotten most of them. been chasing le shit lol. instead of buying so much le i need to catch up on the perm list

Totally agree! Was excited for this pigment cuz I thought maybe it'd be a sweet sunshine yellow but seeing how bright it is and possibly too similar to the yellows already available... I think I'm gonna skip. We'll see how it is in person.

May even pass the entire collection! They all look *too* bright for me

Dag looks like its just Red Balloon for me then and maybe Toying around. But definitely not sweet experience. It looks like a cross between Pink Plaid and Hoop which will be repromoted in the By Request collection. I'm kind of disappointed.
