Hi there! I am a long-time lurker ( I LOVE MAC) but it is my first time commenting. While I wished it would be on make-up; I cannot ignore the comments like those above regarding "credit".  Because I HIGHLY, HIGHLY doubt that any of my fellow MAClovers here have bought and paid for a pattern number, secured an attorney to actively protect and ensure no "infringement occurs' and ACTUALLY hold a copyright, then you CANNOT STEAL any photo on this website. ERGO, you NEED not give CREDIT. ESPECIALLY of products made by MAC (not yourselves).  I have finally commented because quite frankly, some of you accusing another of "not giving credit/stealing" are simply vicious. I think you should ask the poster "where did you find the picture (or similar)" rather than 'attack'.  While "giving credit" may be polite, it certainly is not required and for damn sure is NOT LEGAL.  From: an ATTORNEY-AT-LAW. (so perhaps I know a little something about infringement) Now: YIPPIE for this collection: I will be broke :)
You quoted me. I'd love to know how "WELP!" is considered vicious or is an attack. I can also guarantee that you aren't the only attorney on Specktra, so you can save that.

A- I'm sad people are mad at each other :( B- I'm happy it made everyone forget my teeth! (shh, don't remind them!) C- I'm so excited for Playland I'm going to save up my money and finally buy a real vanity mirror. I found it on a Sephora board, I've been wanting a setup like this my WHOLE LIFE but this forum has finally gotten me excited enough about my makeup collection I'm going to suck it up and put in the money!
Lmao! You are straight on those teeth, mama! We don't mind faux pas; we mind blowhards that try to school us and fail.

So if they are does that mean it's a matter of time for them to come through? Only 3 show up on mine
I only have two wisdom teeth and sadly for me one has recently decided to erupt and I am in my early 30s. I was really hoping they'd never come in. Now I just hope it doesn't turn sideways or do something weird.

Lol!! You should take a look at my vanity mirror I posted a while back. The fiancé made it with a mirror and lights from ikea for a lot less than those expensive vanity mirrors! He was able to make my entire setup w/vabity and storage for the price of one of those mirrors.

Honey on boost: I'm showing my husband your post!!!! That would be so great because then I could put a desk and chair with it and do the whole set up instead of putting all the money on one thing!! And have makeup money left over! I suppose I'm pretty handy with a tool box, got some wiring experience, I COULD do it myself.... But wouldn't it be nice to think of how great my hubby is every time I walk in the room? That's the line I'm going to try ;) seriously, I'm so happy you posted that

I'm doing the same thing. I bought my vanity dest and mirror from ikea, and just went to lowes and bought the light strips, bulbs and wiring to do it myself. I have no wiring experience, but i don't need it cuz everything is gonna be external and the extension cord wires are gonna line up next to the mirror so they won't be seen. I'll have a light strips on 3 sides so I'll have plenty of light! Easy peasy!

Well, I'm glad I was distracted watching Cosmos and missed all the drama.
Oh yeah I don't have dental insurance so not having anesthesia made it WAY cheaper, it was like $500 (which is still insane for something took less than a minute). But it's the anesthesia that costs the most AND makes you sick for days. But if your teeth are really impacted there's nothing you can do about that :( I'm still thinking of getting the casual colors too... But we'll see once there are swatches (of course I ALWAYS say that lol, then just panic and order everything anyway!).
When I had my wisdoms out, they out me to sleep. I didn't feel sick afterwards, but I don't remember too much. I might have just been too focused on how puffy I looked. Anyways, I have a VERY high tolerance for drugs, so the normal stuff they give is not usually enough. If (when) I have more dental work, I hope to be knocked out and wake up with happier teeth. Anyways, I just wanted to tell you that your teeth weren't as bad as the day where there were a whole bunch of spider pictures. I had to scroll through blind.
I'm just thankful for the nitrous they gave me today! It was my first time using it and it was wonderful! I was guessing the different flavours of the tooth mold pastes and talking about the tooth fairy, so i was happy! :fluffy:
I like that stuff too. I need the good stuff for those kinda of things. Glad you made it through ok.

I kept my wisdom teeth too. I only had the right ride removed and it was terrible! The bottom was laying on a nerve and my face is still a little numb. It's going away slowly. The real kicker is the left side has 2 1/2 teeth. TWO AND A HALF TEETH. But my very unfunny dentist said he'd only charge me for 2. What a pal :/ I'm waiting till they become a problem because they were expensive and I don't have a lot of time off left ( migraines have been eating at my sick days). So let's all hold hands and pray I can get another year or two before the little %*\€|€~|*~€ decide to pop out. But it is kinda cool to look at my teeth. They put mine in a little tooth shaped container :)

This post simply validates mine. NO-ONE here has "intellectual PROPERTY" . Property is a thing bought and paid for-- NO ONE has bought and paid for COPYRIGHT (that would be a picture of MAC's product or the swatch) on here.
You're obviously not an attorney (Or an Anttorney as you called yourself..). Copyright isnt something that is paid for, it is something that automatically occurs when you take a photo. Mac obviously owns the rights to their own promotional materials(And love that they are shared here, since that makes their products sell more), but swatches created by members here are not Mac's. The members that has photographed the swatches/products/packaging automatically have the copyright to it, no forms or anything needs to be signed. This is how copyright works.

Your ignorance is obvious and quite ridiculous to be honest and I'm certain you are a troll. I just felt I need to explain this just incase some people started beliving you, since what you're saying is not the truth at all. Look into the Berne convention...

I was typing this up same time you were. Took the words right out of my mouth. That "anttorney" sure has some fables from her head that's why I asked what law school she went to. No one needs to copyright something to say that the picture they took and watermarked is theirs. Copyright is vested automatically without the need for registration. It's yours because it's yours not because someone says it's yours. Something tells me it's trendmood or someone who knows her since the troll came right to her defense. But for the sake of normalcy, I won't comment on this anymore. Now let's go back to makeup talk!

My mac counter has these babies in already. The girl wanted to show me badly, but she couldn't because her manager was around lol the collection comes out the 17th, and she was like omg it's amazing. I still don't know if I'm getting anything, I'm sort of over the bright colors.
