MAC Playland Collection - April 7, 2014

I don't have either TT or Ablaze. Toying around is still on my list. I have a couple of similar shades from the drug store like Revlon matte Strawberry Suede but I would love it in amplified formula. Kinda curious to see it swatched next to Vegas Volt. I wanna see how similar they are, if at all.

Toying Around looks more muted in the photos than Toxic Tale. TT is quite bright and leans more orange and TA seems to lean more pink (just based on the few photos we have). I have TT and Ablaze but TA is still on my list.

I've mentioned this before a few times. Ablaze is much more clown lips than Toying Around. I like Ablaze a lot but TA is more wearable under more conditions. If you already have TT and Ablaze and really want to trim your list, you can skip TA, but then with that logic you can pretty much skip this entire collection. This collection is mostly about if you love brights and want your favorite ones from the past few years in an Amplified finish.

thanks Liba, and sorry I had probably read some of your posts about TA compared to Ablaze! Indeed I probably can skip everything because I have a lot of bright lipstick in matte form and that's the finish I prefer! BUT something may easily jump in my cart U.U I just have to choose which one (that orange gloss we have seen thanks to Honi for example... reeeally lovely)

Damn it I forgot it was coming out on the 7th online and I bought a MK watch today....oh well it was worth it lol. I'm probably going to go to the store and try out all the colors so I don't buy too too much.

I spoke to a rep and Mac themselves are very unsure of the release date, they say around the 15th but its not definite, could be earlier could be later. Its quite stupid if you ask me.

Hoop is described as a mid rose pink. Sweet experience is described as a bright pink. Based off swatches its hard to tell but Sweet experience seems pinker and lighter.
