Hi! I've been reading specktra for a while to get my MAC fix but I've never posted anything.

I can't quite remember, but has anyone shown swatches to compare these lipsticks to similar lipsticks? My list so far is Red Balloon, Happy Go Lucky, Toying Around, and Sweet Experience. I was checking out Temptalia earlier and it seems that Impassioned, Candy Yum Yum, Elegant Accent, and Rose Lily (not permanent but I already own) would be possible dupes for those lippies (in the same order). To the people who have been able to get their hands on these lipsticks... what do you think? I would love to be able to save some money on these if I can find something permanent. That way by haul won't be so large at once!

I've been obsessed with this site for a while for the same reasons! No one I talk to in real life love makeup quite like I do. Most people don't understand. I definitely hear a lot about not needing anymore makeup or it being a waste to spend my money on makeup. I'm glad no one will judge me here based on how much makeup I have and want!

I was never all that excited for this collection. Bright lipsticks make the rest of my face disappear.

That said, anyone have any idea how close Sweet Experience is to MAC Flamingo? Swatches?

Flamingo was OK on me, but it has rolled under a very very heavy dresser, so i'm trying to find a replacement.

Someone told me that a Mac store had just received some pink pigeon lipsticks in Utah...so being my BIGGEST skippers remorse ever (both times) I called them and sure enough she said YES they had them BUT that they weren't going to be released til 17th. She said I could preorder and have it shipped but wouldn't be shipped until then...then when I asked if she Could still ship if I'm in a different state..she saidd they were part of a collection and that all counters should have them and I should be able to get them everywhere on the 17th. Idk y but I didn't ask which collection....annoyed at myself that I didn't...I still asked to go ahead and order it with her..which she took my order still..but I can't find anything saying one that says anything about pink pigeon being released...so my question is has anyone else heard this?

I haven't heard about Pink Pigeon coming out with an upcoming collection. I hope it does!! I didn't start liking those type of colors until after it become unavailable. I would love to get my hands on one. I'm glad you were able to order it!!

I don't have the heart to skip with these collection, because I build no buy regret quick.....unless the color will not suite me.

There is a list of colors becoming permanent Thank God..and u for answering and knowing...my ocd has been driving me crazy trying to find out whether the info was right. She made it sound like it was limited edition...saying it would be there but it would go fast. I have wanted this for so long but it's kind of like candy yum yum...I ordered 2 within the 1st 20 min by request went online and drove myself crazy swatch comparing only for it to go perm not long after. I guess mac finally got tired of ebay making all there money cuz they make awesome shades for limited edition for hype.

I usually do pretty good with skipping. I know what shades I like, and unless the aesthetic behind a collection wows me I'm good with getting very little. I have a feeling I'll skip Alluring Aquatic and I don't see myself getting anything from the Maleficient or 3D collection either. Already skipped By Request because the colors seemed kinda dull.

im pretty sure when this collection comes out they will purchase something lol. I think everyones just a lil irritated at this point .
