MAC Playland Collection - April 7, 2014

Last night I placed my order for all lipsticks but Red Balloon.

This morning when I woke up, I ordered Hi Jinks & YaH CC....and Red Balloon.

I love how Red Balloon looks!

I think lots of things factor into the fact the lipsticks haven't sold out 1. Confusion regarding the release date 2. People still waiting on mac perhaps to try to use their discount and or B2M even though I think they can't 3. Some waiting to swatch in store for comparison 4. The shades are pretty but they aren't all that special hence many people aren't buying more than one backup....I think that if they were matte it would be another story.

I wanna see side by side comparisons for red ballon and toying around I almost always wear pink lipsticks lately tho. I kinda want red balloon but I also don't really like amplifieds .. What's wrong with meeee lol

On Temptalia's blog she stated that MAC confirmed all the lipsticks in the "Cult Favorites" are to be perm at all MAC locations HTH

I ordered Playland,HGL,TA lipsticks and Brightside,LIU,PS lipglasses. I really don't do frost or amplified creme finishes but I don't have some of the unique colors in my beauty arsenal. Hope I don't look ridiculous trying these colors on.

Personally I love this lipstick there is a nice sheen with sparkle but its not glittery

Shocked to see the other lipsticks but Toying Around on Nordstrom's website. That lipstick is the most anticipated color in this collection. I cannot wait to get my hands on the lipsticks that I pre ordered!
