Does anything ever looking bad on you?

Brown eyes. I've noticed people with brown eyes can pull off anything. That isn't to say other eye colours can't, of course, I've just noticed those with brown eyes don't have to make any effort to make anything work at all. In my opinion, anyway.

I have been having a difficult time wearing Sweet Experience. There is just something about the color that I can't help but feel looks off on me. I think it is the milkiness of it. I ended up wearing it over Chicory lip pencil today, which I know isn't an obvious choice, but I feel like it helped pull the color back into my comfort zone and it feels more wearable for me now.

I haven't worn any of the four lipsticks I purchased because it takes me a while to finally brace myself to bust open a new product (I'm weird like that). Plus, I wanted to be sure how I felt about each color before I used them. I went to a counter at Nordstrom and tried each of them on (Playland, Red Balloon, Toying Around, and Head in the Clouds) and I'm still unsure about two. TA looks so much like Revlon's Snow Peach with a little Revlon Kiss Me Coral mixed in (which is what I wore that day!) and Red Balloon is so similar to Girl About Town on me...

Wow, Red Balloon appears so much warmer on me than Girl About Town!

I only did a hand swatch comparison for those two so maybe I'm just being dramatic! I'm also trying to convince myself I'm on a low-buy, so I'm second-guessing pretty much all of my purchases.

Nothing wrong with that, the only I kept was toying around, however If i can get my paws on that cheaper snow peach, why not.

I suspected they were close, but I would guess the finish would be different? Angel is a frost no? And CC must be a Cremesheen.

Well, I don't have Creme Cup or Angel. But I was thinking skip SE and pick up one of those later then use the money for something else in an upcoming collection. But I'm kind of falling for the hype of SE. I guess it's because SE is LE. Even if the finish is different, I suppose there wouldn't be much of a difference on the lips. I find them to be VERY different. The color of SE is much brighter, and its very opaque formula "amplifies" this even more!
