I hope I will be brave enough in my next vacations to start it.

Thank you all for thinking so positive about depotting!

Depotting is ok, I don't particularly love or hate it. But I do hate removing the glue at the base of the metal pan though, I'm just very anal about it and I have to have every single trace of glue removed before I will even pop it into my palette, so the removal part can be pretty tedious for me.

^ I don't like the glue either, that's why I prefer Pro Palettes. But I want more free stuff so I need to start buying in the pot again

My counter got these shadows in! They weren't expected to get them-at least when I visited last week. I picked up Lucky Green. After swatching Atlantic Blue (beautiful in the pot-grayish blue on my hand), Free to Be and Sunny Spot, LG was probably the one that would get the most wear. IMO, I had Warm Me Up l/s on my hand and Free to Be was similar in color to that...definitely pink on my skin.

All I must do now is finally learn how to depot my other 100 single e/s as well

So exciting! How fitting that your first ever MAC palette would be full of gorgeous vibrant shades.

I recommed depotting without heat - easy, quick, not messy and no worry of breathing the chemicals with the heat system!

I depotted tons and tons in no time. But whenever I can, I prefer buying the pro refill pans, there's plenty of depotting with le e/s!

The only thing stopping me from depotting is finding the round peel and stick magnets

I have everything else ready

Just buy magnet sheets from walmart

I just use the pots themselves to create the round shape

I've checked a 1 floor zellers and staples' website but no luck. (just these: STAPLES | BUREAU EN GROS) I think I will go this weekend to WalMart!

TY!!

I know I never go to Walmart either, i hate how busy it is and also I just don't agree with their stores in sooo many levels. But I made an exception for the magnets. They'll last u a long time. i bought mine two years ago for depoting purpose and still have plenty left

Susanne: You will love depotting your eyeshadows. It's so much fun. I use my mom's CHI flatiron to depot my eyeshadows since I'm scared to do the no-heat method.

I depot them with my flat iron too. It's so easy and quick... I have them on the iron less than 30 secs and no fumes...yet!! Some how, the glue never messes up and I'm left with enough to get the magnet on. Then, a bit more heat to the container, 10 secs at most, and I can peel off the sticker with the name and finish. Really easy, neat and quick!!!

I have barely used them this year, I don't know why, just because all the palettes seem so daunting sometimes. So I've only been really using pre-made quads and a few eyeshadows that haven't been depotted. BUT, I also did b2m for TONS of lipsticks, so I don't regret it!

Oh yes!! Free lippies are the best. I wish I could B2M for eyeshadows, as I'm more fond of MAC eyeshadows than MAC lippies. Well, I'm more fond of eyeshadows than lippies to be honest.
