MAC Prep + Prime Future Lengh Lash Serum Discussion

I can see a slight darkening of my lashes, though it's hard to tell if they gained any length as I had long lashes from the start. As I am only half-way through the cycle, let's see the result after eight weeks. I don't see any change in structure (straight or curvy) and I doubt that the serum will change this. However, it is certainly possible to achieve a better curve when using waterproof mascara and/or a lash curler with longer lashes.

that's great! ^^ I really want totry this.. hoping it works for me too!

Since it's not all that expensive ($30 USD), I think it's worth a try for just about everyone!
I certainly don't expect miracles from this, but just to have more frequent "good lash days" would be worth it for me.

I really begin to hate the screw top as I spill so much product when I attempt to close it. No matter how careful I close it - trying different methods such as pushing it in, screwing it in - I push some air inside which causes the product to spill when I close it. I think the problem is that there is too much product on the wand rather than on the brush. Really annoying! Does anybody else encounter these issues?

Yeah, it's not just you. The first couple of times I used mine, it took a lot of effort just to pull the brush out of the tube, and it was sort of difficult to close, too. I, also, notice a little serum spilling out at each use, and some has collected near the mouth of the tube. It's a small amount, so I just figure it's inevitable, and don't think about it much.

Gosh, it's really a bad construction. I don't even care about the waste of product anymore, but it is irritating to see the spill-over and the serum that dries up around the cap. I try to keep it clean as possible, though it is certainly a high maintenance tube.

So how is everybody doing in terms of length, growth, and thickness?

No real news. Maybe a bit darker, but I don't notice any difference in length or thickness. But hey, I still have a few weeks to go.

It's probably best to try it out for yourselves. It might work well for me, but not for you - or vice versa. As I said above, it's just 30 bucks, so the loss is minimal.

After I apply moisturizer as I can't wait for the serum to dry and then apply moisturizer. I don't think it would matter, either way would work.

So... guys, what do you think? Any news, especially from those who said that they saw a difference after a few days?

I've been using it for two months now and don't see much (any?) difference, but maybe that's just me. I will finish the tube, which probably last me another 2 - 4 weeks. There is definitely less product in it now as I have less spilling. Lol.

I had one horribly straight and long lash on my upper left lid, which - after much consideration - I just plucked as it looked damn ugly. Now, I can't really tell if this lash decided to grow straight on its own will (as my lashes have usually a light natural curl) or if it was stimulated by the serum. It might just have been the summer heat and humidity, lol.

Anyway, unless I see any big difference in the next couple of weeks, I will take a break. Maybe I repurchase at a later date when a new formula comes out.

But I am curious to hear your success (or failure) stories.

the study was done in a 12 week period 78% of women saw the full difference in 8 weeks. my lashes grow pretty fast. i have noticed the difference in the color and the fullness of them

Do you have a link or any additional information to this study? I could not find any info on it (nor did my store know about it), and I would like to know the details of the study. Thanks for letting us know.

Tell me about it! LOL.

Well, I hope we hear some more reviews soon. Just because it didn't really work for me doesn't mean it won't work for others.

i have a lash on my brow that's like that! when i get them waxed and then the lady has to tweeze the little ones to clean it up, she always tries to pluck that one lash and it always hurts and i have to tell her "i know which lash you're pulling, and i swear it's like attached to my bone, it's not coming out, if you have to cut it, that's fine but please DON'T try to pull it out!"
