Someone PLEASE stop me from buying Tissueweight. The more I look the more I want it when I know damn well I have enough highlighers and very similar highlights. I think the peach in it makes the difference. That's what's making me weak.

Go and swatch all of your highlight colors on your hand. I am sure you will find something that will suffice. Give it some time. If you can't stop thinking about it a week from now, get it. That's what I do. If I really should pass on something, I wait and see if I still really want it later. Nine times out of 10, the lemming dies down and I move on to the next new thing.

That's what I do with clothes. I talk myself right out of it

. It's harder to do with makeup, but you're right.

Mine too! I hate anything else and I hate to have to use another primer for a primer. lol All my shadows MAC and non-MAC stay put with a paintpot. I really think it has to do with the texture of your skin.

Yeah I never had a problem with them blending. I think people either use too little or too much and it dries up quickly.

I just tried Coral Crepe without the Too Faced primer and I applied it mostly with my finger and blended it out with a brush. It turned out MUCH better. I don't know how long it would last on my lid like that, but it looked the way I was hoping. Maybe it would hold up nicely, because it was a bitch to wipe off, even with makeup remover. I don't know.

I'll play again when I have more time on my hands. I was thinking what I would do with this if I wanted to put shadows on top. Starting to think of Hot Hot Hot, Straw Harvest and Nanogold.

I have always used a paintpot alone and my shadows or pigments have never creased on me 8 hrs +.
I think if you use a primer like UDPP TFSI or others, it really defeats the purpose to use a paintpot anyway. All you are doing is layering on primers and the shadows will eventually not blend well or show up correctly.

I kept putting stuff in and out of my cart for probably an hour, but eventually decided on Instant chic and cut to fit. The end.
I wish I was near a counter and could see it in person, but I can't so HUGE thanks to all the swatch makers!

I thought that a paint pot was considered a base, which is suppose to enhance the color of your eyeshadow. While a primer, like UDPP, is suppose to make your eyeshadow last.

I was wondering the same thing when I first saw Cut to Fit in the promos. After seeing Cut to Fit yesterday, they are different, Cut to Fit is more red/orange while Glamour Check is more brown. To me, Cut to fit is a lighter Antiqued. I swatched them together.

Paint pots are a base, not a primer. Like most bases, paint pots can be used alone or in conjunction with a primer. But on many, paint pots will crease without the use of a primer. If they don't, then you're among the lucky few. I know I cannot use a paint pot without a primer. They crease within a couple of hours on me.

I crease more in the summer than winter. not big on too much shadow in the summer. to oily and dewy from the heat.

I was joking to DH about having an embarassingly large e/s collection and he said, "Does it make you happy?" and I said yes of course and then he said, "Then that's all that matters Honey." Gosh, I love him.

Same here. I have very oily lids, though.

Regarding the problems with blending PPs that someone else in the thread had, I find that application is sooo much easier if you use a 217 brush or similar. I have a synthetic one from The Body Shop which is great for the purpose. Also, IMO the PPs are usually harder to blend when they are brand new - you have to sort of break the hard seal that's on top of them. If that makes sense.
